I agree, tie this into the intimidation perk or something and the mod above. Then add speech the gun somehow when drawn. Guns aren't able to talk normally, but maybe an invisible floating companion that is summoned when the gun is drawn and dismissed when sheathed?
maybe that's why there is no gambling, bets & arena in their recent games!! previous fallout do have them, or in elder scrolls the arena combat that was supposed to be in skyrim being cut out without reasons.

Agreed, I was a slaver through and through. The few free slaves I did kill, I used their precious symbol of freedom to do it. The rest lined my pocket. I enjoyed enslaving people in the game. When the slavers could not pay me anymore, I put a bullet through Eulogy, and all the others, including the last of the detained slaves just for shits and giggles because I earned my fortune, and they refused to pay more per head. This Mesmetron as nice as it is; leaves a bad taste in my mouth for some reason. I have fond memories that cannot be found here in this game, that I wish I could relive. If I could, the minutemen would be a army of slavers under my command, to which I would bring a legion like that of Caesar. To bad the oversensitive little shits nowadays would condemn the game for even mentioning it.
The projectile may be a bit slow for the tracking, I had a shot miss when the target moved suddenly and the shot went crazy and started orbiting around them until it finally landed.
hm.. so this pretty much spams the blue projectile? It would kinda be fancy if the gun were to fire normal stuff it was firing before being converted, and then at the last bullet, it fires an actual mesmetron projectile or.. 3 mesmetron waves during firing its normal barrage.. no clue how that could be done tho.. oO
also, voicing the gun would be fancy xD just mimicking what bethesda was doing in that one Automatron quest, when you carry that 'rather talkative' item
