im trying to gather ideas at my forum to make the mini-quest that ties in to the star wars lore mix with Fallout lore. also,any Reason you dislike my mod or any improvements i can do plz comment away.
Installing this causes ctd when opening crafting tab of the settlement workshop menu. I've heard missing meshes can cause this but the workbench meshes added by this are in my data folder.
Just FYI, the original lightsaber mods were most likely hidden/removed due to copyright/trademark infringement. I can only imagine Disney is laying the smackdown on these types of mods seeing as they own the Star Wars name and franchise now. Odds are this mod will see the same fate soon.
how do you know it might be.... changed.one more thing which is the original? the original one by invalidfate? the one from skyrim?or the one from fallout 3? or the original craftable lightsaber?but the last one makes no sense since it just edit the stats of the lightsaber mod by invalidfate
So I'm a big fan of all the CROSS mods on here, and it turns out that running this and his Cybernetics mods cause CTD, I assume they both mess with the crafting section since his adds the Cyber Crafting Bench and yours the Force bench. For now I'm going to have to stick with the AWKCR patch.
Honestly, would you be able to just make another version for me with the weapons available at the AWKCR workbench? I would really appreciate it, I really like where your mod is right now, it's just not compatible for me.
that AKWCR patch disable the ability to craft the force bench(i think) and moves the crafting recipe for the saber in weaponsmith workbench.Also,CTD most probably comes from the messed up mesh i used for force bench before but it fixed now with a beta one
Right, what I'm saying is that the force bench clashes with Cyber crafting bench from the CROSS mods anyways, so I'd like to find a way to just make the sabers through the weaponsmith bench instead since I also don't care for the Big Leagues requirement. Trying to figure it out in the Geck right now, but don't understand where the items decide which bench they're crafted at, or where the requirements for crafting them are. Very confused, lol.
EDIT: Also, when I open it in the GECK there's a ton of errors so I assume it's not completely fixed.
well i use GECK very rarely in this types of mods since xedit can do all the rest.btw, as i said before the moves all the crafting recipes in my bench to weaponsmith.the patch for Cross is kinda hard since Cross mods have alot of stuff in them so it might take a while to finnish. yes again,they are avalible at the AWKCR table with the patch and the reason ive made the that patch is thing sort of incompatibility with some other cool mods that i dont use.
I love and use the original Lightsaber Mod but it's not aging well and not being able to craft or modify one does make me sad.
That said, this mod/patch here might need a bit more time in the oven. The Original Lightsaber mod isn't broken for me and I don't want to break it. But I hope to download this version of it soon.
