Thank you for modding effort Bordraw.
Agree with the 2017 request for upgradeable Dirty Army Helmet, but no reply so worked it up for myself. If this mod author is OK, posting download link here to: Upgradeable Dirty Army Helmet 1.0 :)  It just makes sense, after all it is the same helmet, just 'dirty' and a little rusty. Why BGS decided to make it a different object is baffling to me, just for a dirty texture...?

My file is just a quick xEdit modification using Bordraw's .esp as a template.  I flagged as ESL the Upgradeable Dirty Helmet.esp to save a load order slot since there are no cell edits and believe you can do the same to Brodraw's file via xEdit or CK.

The Dirty Army Helmet exists so as to match the Dirty Army Fatigues. This sort of thing (new & old, clean & dirty, pristine & worn) is a quite common across FO4 and FO3/FNV. Thanks for the optional. And thanks to the original modder for a nice mod and the add-on files. Endorsed.

Any chance you could make an optional file or something to make the helmet allow face pieces? I love the army helmet, combat helmet looks like poop, but I can't rock my helmet+gas mask WWI storm trooper look :(

Any chance for a version compatible with AWKCR? I just could not get this to work for some reason and when i tried to figure it out in FO4Edit, I think AWKCR overwrites one of the keywords and derps up the whole process.

I'll second that request PLEASE. It is conflicting with AWKCR and Armorsmith Extended.
The material swap still seems to work, but the color palate does not...

Confirmed, this is not working anymore with the new AWKCR/Armorsmith update.

Thank you for your work, endorsed!

Well... atleast the helmet still has 10 points of dmg resist.

      *Sigh

Finally, the army helmet gets some much-needed love. And you fixed the Brotherhood combat armor, which has been bugging me since release. Thanks!

Any chance of updating this to be compatible with Valdacil's Item Sorting?

This mod looks absolutely AWESOME, however, I've been having some issues with it. The main one being that the palette will change, but I can't access the upgradeable features. I don't have any mods that should conflict with it; even going so far as to disable all mods EXCEPT for this one just to see. Any ideas as to what I could be doing wrong? I just installed it the same way I did with all my other mods (manual download, add to NMM client, install through there). Really hoping to get this mod working!

EDIT: Got it running! Just needed to update my mods cause of the game beta update! Works great!

Nice! A simple yet useful mod. Definitely going to use this, as the helmets my favorite headwear, and it needed some love for a while now.
