Haven't seen anything new on this mod in quite a while. I wish I was capable of helping, but I don't know the first thing about Nifscope, or anything else modding related. Just curious if any progress had been made on bringing the previous mod's meshes and such into the game?

I've been away from my PC for months since I'm in the United States Marine Corps now. No progress has been made I guess since my old crew disappeared on me since my absence.

Congratulations on joining the USMC. Army veteran, myself. Sad to see that no progress has been made and/or may never be made again. I wish I had the modding skills to help, but I haven't the slightest clue on where to start. I had been hoping that the guy who made the mod for FO:NV would bring the mod over, but that hasn't happened.

Regardless, best of luck to you in the service.

Absolutely thrilled to see someone porting this weapon into the game. I've always loved making pyro-characters; and this was a must-have weapon for me in Fallout New Vegas. I'll be keeping an eye on it, here, because I'd like to see it have the proper look of the weapon first. I hope you're aiming to make a well-balanced weapon, in the end.

Also, how does one go about acquiring it? Will it be worked into the loot/store lists or is it just going to be put in some fixed location? I'm not averse to either, as long as there's some reasonable challenge to earning it. Oh, and what perks will affect the weapon? Gunslinger perk because of its size, or Heavy Weapons perk to match the base Flamer? Personally I think the Gunslinger/pistol perk is more fitting.

Regardless, I have zero modding skill, so seeing someone take on this task is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I've been wanting a smaller flamer, as there's no logical reason why a weapon which in reality was never larger than a rifle would be a the size of a minigun. So it's nice to see it can be done, just a shame it doesn't have its own model. I know someone made one for FO:NV, maybe they'd be willing to part with it.

Hopefully, considering it is possible to port Fallout 3 / New Vegas meshes and textures into this game.

I've seen it done, so pretty sure that with some tweaking, most things from the older games can be ported over.
