I dont think cheat charisma is necessary, for anyone using it, what this mod does is just run console command code
player.placeatme 00020593 1 or 5 or 10 (it spawns settler at your location, with number. literally you can type this in console which saves you from using this mod)
then it runs player.modav charisma 99 If you want to reverse the change, type player.setav charisma [your original charisma]
Just as a side note: I'd rename those cryptic batch file names to something the typical modder will be able to remember after a few days. Plus it should add some clarity to what the batch files actually do. So instead of
bat sett1 (Adds 1 Settler) bat sett2 (Adds 5 Settlers) bat sett3 (Adds 10 Settlers)
I'd suggest naming them:
bat add1settler bat add5settlers bat add10settlers
No one will remember what sett2 means after a short time, plus they would have to guess that this actually adds 5 settlers not 2.
I would also imagine that some folks will have quite a few batch files in their folder, so the clearer the naming the better.
Absolutely love this mod! Simple to use, easy, clean and effective. Fantastically great for setting up new settlements, just pop in a few settlers for supply lines and then you're golden. Endorsed.
Okay so i got the settlers to settle in succesfully i have 44 settlers. however my problem is that they just dont seem to do anything. i've been trying to assign them andd they refuse to go do anything so the food stays low af
It's a glitch with the game code, I'm afraid. The settlements are only designed to fit 20 people maximum. You'd find the same issue if you had 20 settlers in Sanctuary, then freed the Minutemen, or built robots to surpass that limit.
At least, that's how it goes for me. I could be wrong, so take what I say with a grain of salt.
Tip: Never add more than 25 settlers. You're gonna risk breaking your saves doing that unless you use a mod that increases the vanilla 25 limit. Also never set Charisma above 10 via console because it's gonna risk breaking your saves too. Fallout 4's pretty finicky like that.

seriously...
bat sett1 (Adds 1 Settler)
bat sett2 (Adds 5 Settlers)
bat sett3 (Adds 10 Settlers)
I'd suggest naming them:
bat add1settler
bat add5settlers
bat add10settlers

Hope that helps.
Perhaps, its possible to make it more logical by:
Bat sett1
Bat sett5
bat sett10
But even then, considering they increase in an increment of 5 each time, the 1, 2, 3, makes sense to me.
However, we can rename batch files willy nilly usually, so, I guess we can customize the names of them to whatever we want.

Find another hobby.
