Hey, I've been making many textures for the wooden stock as you can see in my pictures. I'd be interested to publish them, also with separate stock options.
This is what I've been looking for. I like the original Mauser K98, but I also like the vanilla hunting rifle.
With this mod (And the option to have it as a standalone modification) my dream has come true. Thanks a lot for making this mod. BTW: Hunting rifle animation replacers work with this mod, the bolt handle is just clipping through the wooden stock a little bit. But I guess that can be fixed by mirroring the lower stock mesh.

currently i'm reworking your mod. i hope you'll like it. all textures are in 4k now.

To my not inconsiderable relief, 98K is just the type number of the rifle.
