Consider all my FO4 mods UNSUPPORTED for now since I don't have a PC that can even run the game anymore. Feel free to release updated/redux/etc versions or whatever though. Ports are allowed as long as you don't change anything about the mod besides fixes.

And since the original mod seems to be unsupported now and still has some issues, I'm thinking about releasing a collection of fixes. Including fixed tactical light, adjusted leveled lists and balance, removed black box thingy on the handle since it's not really essential, among other things. Everything as modular/optional. I'm also considering including some new attachments, but I'll need to get permission from other authors first.
While I'm guessing this is hidden in the dust somewhere, I would relish the chance to see this come true. Admittedly I may need to learn some modding myself as I would love to see the white stock added as an extra option instead of a replacer but that's on me, ha ha!
scopes are way to big! stats a bit to OP too... it has more damage than a vanilla sniper and many times faster trigger. But that is minor for me... vanilla is underpowered... guns should have a punch...
The m14 has become a mainstay for my fo4 game. It is so versatile. One thing I really wish for is a short scope option. When I was in U.S. army my first weapon was M1, 30-06, second was M14, 308, and finally M16, 222 I think it was. As somewhat a gun nut, I cringe at rusty abused weapons. With all gunnut perks, I should be able to make my weapon look sharp, not like something out of a dumpster. Not new looking, but used, loved and babied, after all, it stands between me and certain death. To that end I hope this mod will help me achieve that. Thank you for sharing. endorsed asp
Great job! Will you release the fixes soon? I'm tired of having to edit the leveled list every time I merge it so M14 don't spawn on level 1 or on Super Mutants. And it would be great to see the gun spawn with mods (including ammo mods) so that you don't always get the normal unmodded M14 from loot/enemies.

And vanilla hunting rifle is basically a Remington 700.
