I copied the Reshade folder from the Reshade Framework to the Fallout Folder and copied the Reshade Folder out of your Presets into the Fallout Folder.
After I start the game there is an yellow error message.
There should be a performance version. Just the color grading without the FPS drop. It looks nice but I can't endorse something that tanks my framerate for no apparent reason; visual quality appears to be the same aside from the colors but my FPS is much lower. And this is after removing the AO.
I will admit I'm frequently guilty of downloading mods and not endorsing them, even if I enjoy them. Most of them are just quality of life tweaks or little retextures that I enjoy, nothing that would have a massive effect on my game experience.
This reshade though... it's like you got straight into my brain and captured what I -felt- I should be seeing with the vanilla graphics. It's bleak, brutal, cold... I think it's my favourite of any ENB, Reshade or SweetFX setup that I've used across all my Nexus friendly games. Cracking work here, this really is how it should have looked out the gate IMO.
Also I dunno how different our rigs are but, at least with CA off (personal taste anyway) I'm not really losing any more than 6-12fps, which considering the atmospheric enhancement is really nothing (with frame limits on I still get a mostly stable 60, occasional drops to 40-50 for some reason known only to the game engine in relatively quiet and uninteresting areas). That's even with DOF enabled (although I'll have it off most of the time as the UI blur does get a bit wearing, will just throw it on for screenies).
All in all, big thanks. If I get any good shots I will definitely pass them on.
edit: reading other posts your setup is more powerful than mine, but no SLI here, so maybe it just is an optimisation issue. I really can't complain about any significant performance hit.
Makes the game look awesome! I don't notice any performance hit on my rig, but it does make the darks look VERY dark. Which file adjusts that? I know how to tweak the enb files, but I'm not familiar with reshade.
What graphical settings do you suggest I use with this? Should I turn godrays all the way off? Turn off depth of field and rely completely on the shader?

I copied the file to disable CA and overwrote the original one and now I am getting this line of yellow text when the reshade loads.
Is this supposed to happen or did I mess something up?
