I use this with the Red Rocket Safehouses mod, I got rid of the workbenches the mod adds and just leave these on the floor since they persist,
Make a bit more sense to me, immersion-wise, instead of having full-blown workbenches everywhere, just small kits stashed away in places you can be reasonably sure will be safe

The message selection does not work and always retrieves the tools. If do delete access to the retrieve script you will always USE the tools but will never be able to retrieve. I am looking for a fix. For now you can place crafting tools but not take them back. You can also change what you need to craft these if you wish.
thats what i was looking for other mods with similar options are to op and unrealistic with big worbenches and all options like crafting everything from scrap and so on
but this one is kinda "realistic" and immersive sure the deployment is a bit complicated and has a glitch but i could not make it any better xD

Nice mod, if I may suggest an idea, and that would be having one tool box with an menu to select the different craft station. Oh if you could include cooking station too, that would be great. Good Work!!!
Oh one more thing, add - or = or + or whaterver charcater to the name to help locate the tool box faster.
Great suggestions, indeed. Especially the all-in-one, because I suspect that a very large portion of the 800kB of this mod is for the 3d models. A single object would require much less of that than three.
And another suggestion would be to place the object under the Misc tab (because it is NOT a weapon, after all), and to allow people to simply drop it (using the 'drop' interaction), in stead of throwing it like a grenade.
But, since this post by mod4u has been up since May 2017, and the uploader/author has yet to respond, I expect that we can wait till the end of eternity for any of that to happen...
So I just tried it again , and it seems it only happens on the portable weapons kit, if select "pick up" game freezes... Other kits are fine, armor and chem lab works perfectly... but for some reason its just the weapons one that crashes.
I'm loving this mod a lot so looking forward if any one can help fix this . ty

It's with the armorer kit tho. what i tried so far without success. - enabled papyrus logging: and found this.. What DID work however: - open console - use TSCR (disables script processing) - press *use* on your bugged toolbox (no dialogue comes up but that is ok - as you disabled script processing) - (maybe optional) do not look at any container or the bugged toobox - use TSCR again - the pickup dialogue (from your previous *use* action) pops up -> choose pickup and you get your toolbox back. (if you used the toolbox multiple times you get multiple pop-ups if you pick "pick up" multiple times you get multiple boxes)
additional thoughts: - maybe it's related to resources being obtained for scraping armor/weapons? because i noticed as soon as "pick up" was selected i got some resources too.. assuming from the armors i've scrapt using the toolbox earlier. - also do you happen to use the mod "portable junk recycler?" because that def crashes if you happen to look at a container while it's "scraping" and the toolbox might be considered a container... or something.
Hey great mod , Endorsed! I also wanted some help if anyone knows ... every time I park the box too close to a wall or at arkward angle my character freezes in getting in and out and this last time the game froze all the way ad I had to Cr alt de to get out. can someone see if this is a bug or am I the only one having it? THANKS
