I just wanted to say I really ape-reciate the Gorilla mod. Despite my lame pun, this is to be taken as a genuine endorsement. And I did press the endorsement-button.
Despite the bugs that usually go with "playable non-human" mods, it is still very immersive. The animal's movements, and the few sounds that it does have, are great.
A few comments:
1) I would really like it to be able to drink from other water sources than bottles or wells. As is, I can't get my gorilla-player-character to drink from the lakes, the river or any other "natural" water source. It would just be a very cool thing for a gorilla to do. Even without an animation it would still be really immersive, I think.
2)) I use the mod together with the Mute Player Voice-mod. As such, the ape communicates with npcs just as would a human, of course, but without a human tenor voice of it's own. It sits well with the 'strong and silent'-aspect of the gorilla. Perhaps, as a future feature, the grunts that it omits when sitting and 'workbenching', could be used in dialogue as well?
Hey, do you know how to make an npc temporarily playable, meaning they can draw and holster their weapon and do the dialogue choices and control the POV? ONly during the duration of the quest.
When i try to play as Yao guai, the body just messes up, the sound and body is there but the head is stretxhed into my belly and its like i'm frozen. help?

I love all your playable creature mods. Thanks for making them.
