This is just a reminder, this mod is no longer being worked on. It has been dead for quite a while. The reason for this is simply that this was orginally a pre-geck mod. But as soon as the geck came out a modder by the name of TPVortex made an even better mod with custom animation and textures. Therefore I didn't and still don't see the reason to continue working on this mod. Here is a link to his mod page if you missed it: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15840/?
Still I wish to thank you all for the endorsements and support, although in my eye's this is quite the rough and unfinished mod that never came to be.
Added this to one of my underground bunkers using the Basement Living mod (which supplies each room with 100 power), but I can't get the thing powered. Mostly because it seems the wire attachment point is at the bottom of the machine for some reason.
Yeah I have seen this too and it is not the only thingthat dampens this mods success. I am currently trying to find the model so i can change the point of the wire and the animation position
I just gave up with it ! went with this instead - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15840/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D15840%26preview%3D&pUp=1
Created one and just for kicks tried to use it without power...and got all my cores recharged. Also weird as all get out how the animations blend the character INTO the thing. :/
been using player homes that have this feature thx to this mod i can set one up in my air ship mod i have thx for it . this mod is what i need for my power armor .
I can't find where it actually is in the workbench. Could someone help me out and tell me where to look? If its still not there my guess would be other mods conflicting with it
A change in the charging station so that you drain cores into a buffer which you can then use to fill existing cores which are not at 100%
I believe this could be more obtainable in a slightly different configuration where you deposit the cores and calculate the total capacity (the game already distinguishes between partially filled cores in inventory) and then provides a core of equal value.
eg. 5 cores are input 10%+5%+3%+70%+9% results in an output of a 97% capacity core
DrAbraxo can you test something out for me? try making to fusion cores by a custom item made by fusion core.i think this would help fixing the "remove all but one fusion core before usage"thing. just a thought you know.
So I was finally able to build this and it works, but I craft inside the machine... sideways. Took me a while to figure out you don't actually have to connect it to a generator you just have to have one. You might want to add those in the description but anyways... great job so far. I know it's an effort without the GECK. (or whatever it's going to be called)
