    Important notice!

After this post, this Mod will never be updated again. Of course, all files are still available. If you want to use utility/patrol cap as resources for your Mod, please send me a message.

This Mod will be integrated into my other Mod, Classic Army Helmet. Classic Army Helmet is updated in the near future, and the cap is added with a lot of skins.?Unfortunately, compatibility is lost. If you need it you can install two Mods at the same time.

    Thank you everyone!

Hey I went to where the Ranger book was supposed to be and it was not there and the console command didn't work either. So how do I get it to work?

Yes! Totally what I was lookin for, just use this with evil detective and BOOM best FO4 character, I play a cop who later became a soldier and vet/ war hero, when he returned home he became a detective pretty quickly to pay the bills and later speeches became essential for war heroes...Not too sure about history I may be wrong...But history was never my major, regardless, This hat is a must for me.

On version 4.1 I crafted the Utility Cap and it did not show on my head, and when I went to the armor crafting table and selected the Utility Cap I was stuck in the menu as there was no options. However, the Patrol cap variant work perfectly. As a Marine myself I am more interested in the Utility Cap so, I download your old version 4.0 to see if the Utility Cap would work like the Patrol ones, and it worked! So I don't know if that's something just I had to do to make it work, but it happened.

But, the real reason I am commenting is I see you have posted recently. Have said I was a Marine I am reforming the Minutemen to be outfitted and function as in my time in the US Marine Corps. Having served recently I would like my Marines (Minutemen) to be outfitted as such. In fact, due to the other very impressive collections of mods on this site I have managed to recreate my entire Afghan deployment load out, from my Nomex gloves, to my M4 with attachments. However, for the life of me I can't find my iconic MARPAT 8-point cover that I spent so many years wearing or having stuffed in a cargo pocket always within arms reach. Having looked up some videos I see that this re-texturing thing isn't too hard, my girlfriend is good at Photoshop and I can get my way around files so I'm almost desperate enough to try to mod this cap to have the woodland MARPAT. So because I have seen others ask I will again because it would complete my settlements. So if you could please make one more skin(or two for those that want desert MARPAT I probably will as well at some point)maybe EGA in center just like you did the Olive Drab version?

So, as it stands I can't use this mod sadly, but it is the closest thing. That's not going to stop my Officers and I from wearing your Marine Officer Service Alphas mod I am very happy with those :D

      thank you for your comment.
In fact, there are no major changes to 4.1 and 4 esp files. There is a possibility that the reading of the mesh has failed. That is a download failure. Does that problem occur even if reinstalling 4.1?

Then for new skins, I will start working right now. Probably it will not take time. I will prepare a screenshot later.

No problem, thank you for the great work!
So, I uninstalled and deleted all versions of this mod. Then downloaded 4.1 again and it still did not work with the first picture link showing you what it is doing, it makes my hair disappear in a circle. Then, the second picture link showing you it working in 4.0 after I uninstalled and deleted 4.1 and reinstalled 4.0 and tested.

And, the third link is the only woodland MARPAT mod I could find, and it is for the baseball cap, and the ratio on the digital squares is way off to where it looks very different when wore together. Looks too Army, got to stick to the traditions.

That's a typical error when the mesh can not be read. However, if the patrol cap is working correctly, problems seem to be occurring only in the mesh of the Utility cap.
Please Open the "Data\Meshes\Satojo\Utility_Cap" folder and make sure that the following 3 files exist:
      - UtilityCapF.nif
      - UtilityCapGO.nif
      - UtilityCapM.nif
It seems that these files are not loaded for some reason.

And, This is a screenshot of a new skin. Please check.

Fatigue is not mine. "Primez Military Fatigues" is used for standard of color tone.

Yes, on the 4.1 version those are there in that file location.
And that looks perfect! I use the Primez cammies on my main character because it has the Corporal chevrons on it and that just happens to be the rank I exited at, so I give my settlers the fatigues without the rank.

Thanks you so much for the quick skinning and patching. I had no idea this was going to happen, let alone so quickly. Keep up the great work! My minutemen do truly look like Marines during my time now, with those bullets removed too! As having those bullets in there was way out of Marine Uniform Regulation.

Love the Cap. Is there any way for you to make a retexture mod for a Navy "Seabee" fatigue uniform. It would only really be the "Seabee" symbol on the top pocket. It would go great with the Utility Cap... Great work, thx btw.

Great mod, really like the different patterns. I'm sure someone asked, but any chance are you working on adding Woodland or Desert MARPAT to the patterns?

    Ver.4.0
    * Add 3 new skins. Olive Drab(EGA), White, Police Blue.

    * A new item, "Army Ranger Handbook" was added.
Utility/Patrol caps will appear in the craft menu only if this handbook is in your inventory. The handbook is located in the bunker near Drumlin Diner. Please see the screenshot.

This is an idea for solving the confusion of utility category.
If succeeds here, I'm going to put a similar system in my other Mod.

    * The file directory structure has been changed. It is for management and maintenance. However, it is still compatible with the old version.

    * Now, this Mod uses a script to add caps to the Leveled Lists.
