I was away for some time (work and other RL-stuff)
I just updated this file and solved the reported bugs. Sorry for the inconvenience. I would have solved this earlyer, but I had quite some things on my mind.
First time playing far harbor, so I thought it would be interesting to try a completely new area on a hardcore modded survival mode playthrough with no compass, no stealth bar, lowered leveling speed, and realistic damage. Just got the first quest from Acadia and headed out to the children of atom when I realized I was looking at my map every five seconds using that helpful little map marker to never get lost. I don't even need a map to know where I am in the commonwealth, but in far harbor? This was a terrible idea, I'm going to get lost, run out of purified water, and get eaten by an angry radioactive frog.
It will need some extensive work, but hey I might be very bored at the weekend and just do it :-D
Edit: Ok I made it, but I cat quite figure out how to remove the names of the places. For instance, if you point your mouse at Diamond City, you will get the text witch says " Diamond City" Only the map marker is gone.
I upload the file in a minute, but if someone can tell me how to stop the names on popping up, please do so. ;-)
In response to post #36329390. #36350800 is also a reply to the same post.

The console command ShowAllMapMarkers 0 (short: tmm 0 – toggle map markers) hides all world map markers. (Exits aren't affected, at least in FO3 and FNV.) But I can't tell you how to implement this into a mod, if it's possible at all.
This would work very well, I think for enhancing the Survival mode. Having a map but not knowing exactly where you are on it could be quite fun as navigation may be trickier.

So, I hope this helps ;-)
You should head over to GTA V and try modding that s#*!, you would probably break down crying with that attitude.
Tested it out myself, now. If it won't work please let me know.

Seems, your little mod gets a lot of recognition!
"ShowAllMapMarkers 0 (short: tmm 0 – toggle map markers)"

Nice idea, but (yea this "but" thing again" ) this only un-discovers the locations. Meaning:
1. It is a possible exploid (you re-discover the map marker again and again and...)
2. They reappear every time you get near them.
So, since it might be a possible solution for screen shots, it misses the point here by inches.

The easiest way to start a game with a consol command is to add
sStartingConsoleCommand="consol command"
to the [General] section of the Fallout4.ini.
I am thinking more of a way to turn the font on the map to "invisible". This might do the trick. :-)
