The mod looks awesome and I want to try it out but have one question before I do. Will Snappy Housekit overwrite or break Snap n' build? Just curious if I can use them both without conflict or parts of one being overwritten by the other.

    Thank you

They don't conflict. Many uses both.

I'm trying to recreate one of the houses in Jamaica Plain and I've run into a problem. I need a wall panel compatible with the Deco-Kit panels and wallpapers that is half width AND half height (i.e. 128 x 128 units). I also need a similar pieces that are cut to fit under the roof panels. I can fake these using the console command SETSCALE but the result has a mangled texture and the wrong thickness. Is there anything in another sub-category that's the right size? If not, could I petition for these panels to be considered in a future upgrade? I've uploaded a pair of images to show the building and the problem, the panels in question have been covered in the red/black exterior wallpaper.

    Thanks

Hmm.. I will think how to go about it and what to create for this case. There are no such pieces atm in Snappy anyway, so no need to search. :)
      Nice build however!

An excellent mod so far! I've found an excellent time building using the Decolobby A set for my homebase.

    Two minor concerns:

    1. The Decolobby A stairs (the complete one with both endcaps - there's no collision in the endcap. I can walk through it and get into the cavity under those stairs.

    2. There appears to be glass in the DecoLobby A windows, but I can shoot through it. None of the items in the glass category snaps into the cavities, so I don't know if it's just a "Place Everywhere" issue or if I"m doing something wrong.

That's about it. Thank you again for this excellent mod!

Ah yeah, many things from the decokits is from before I learned to make custom collisions and stuff in 3ds max. So those are kinda false windows and end caps. The glass I don't think I will fix actually, not atm anyway. Too much work involved adding glass to all those nifs. But maybe at some other time. Til then try using PE and adjust as you want. The caps is easier to fix. Will try to do that til next version.

And thanks for the kind words. I hope this doesn't scare you away from creating fun stuff with it!

Hi, I wanted to ask a question about permissions for using your mod?

So I'm making a map(my first map) and I'm in desperate need of assets that are not f*cked up á la fallout style and looking at some screenshots of your mod I already saw very specific things that I would love to have. My question is if there's any problem using this mod as a requirement for my map? I'm not gonna reupload anything from the mod, just using the objects to make my map in CK and once I release it(hopefully) people will need to download this mod in order to play the map.

I'm kinda new to modding, this is gonna be my first mod ever, so I'm sorry if this question comes as stupid or very noobish haha

I really like your work. I've been using them for a long time. When you build with this MOD there is no way to stop. I have a question, do not plan on updating MOD to add various technical elements: large fans, appliances and other located on the roofs and walls of buildings (with binding). Thank you very much. Sorry for the bad English.

Thanks! Some new stuff for roofs will be added next version. But haven't thought about those things in your pics. But will think about it. Agree with that would be nice to have!

      1. Is that Metalkit window you are trying to snap the glass to? If so I haven't added snaps to that. Will check if it is possible to do that.
      2. I don't understand the question. Sorry. What block?

Perhaps there could be a misc file where we could add our own wallpapers and flooring? Like just a file that has some place holders and then we can just change the textures ourselves? :) Amazing mod, I use it in every build I ever do :3

Yeah, someone else suggested that a while ago. But forgot. Will write it down in my todo and see what I can do about it!

wow absolutely brilliant mod, one of the best if not the best settlements mod, I've been wanting a quick easy way to repair the tafington boathouse roof, this mod worked absolutely perfect and you can't tell the difference either, looks natural. There's just so much more you can do, this and homemaker are essential for settlement building, and OCD, it's practically turns fallout into Minecraft with place anywhere and scrap anything, without said mods settlement building is pretty limited .

You need both, but really not super sure it works with latest Snappy. But do try! It's just for those that wants all windows to be broken and not fixed.
