I learned how to make the parking garage and made two of them in Sanctuary attached with a pedestrian bridge, somewhat based on the garages at Nuka-World transit center, with the pedestrian bridge I used with it to connect both parking garages!..

Anyhow my question is, If I place scavenger stations and or build the trade caravan from the Caravan Trading Post - Enhanced mod on the garage parking lots, well the NPC's use them??? I built ramps and stairs on both parking garages and made ground level door entrances as well from the parking garage build kit of this mod!..

screenshots of the parking garage I built over night!..

I built the trade caravan post from the caravan trading post mod on the top level of one of the parking garages, so far Trash Can Carla keeps going to her original spot near the front start out house, but I think that they don't start using the caravan post new spot In tell either I've built a radio beacon and There are settlers or I have gone to do the quest in the museum of freedom, or visited Diamond City

After working over 40 hours with your Mod, building a larger Manor with it, I really have to thank you for giving us the tools to turn the Settlement-System into what it should have been, bestowing the freedom to cut loose and be creative. Great work!

    Robboten,

Here's something else I'd LOVE to see added. You already have retaining walls, but I don't see any with ground on top of them like the ones at Croup Manor here:

If these are already in the mod, please let me know where.

    As always, great work!

Hehe thanks Ricky. Yeah that works well, but it's pretty large. The small pieces would be GREAT. I think between this, sidewalks, stairs, and everything else, we've given Robboten plenty to pick from for the next update. :-)

The mod Akira's Clutter has the croup manor planter with dirt along with four other different shaped planters with dirt to choose from, also the mod Workshop Rearranged has the same five dirt planters as the Akira's Clutter mod!..

In game screenshot showing the five different shaped dirt planter from Akira's Clutter mod, in the background you'll see I'm using two different shaped ones of that mod at my tenpines bluff build

workshop Rearranged don't play nicely with SMM mods, not everything shows up in workshop Rearranged when used with SMM that;s why I stopped using it, and Akira's Clutter mod is hardly popular or known about and is a SMM mod , and I wanted to save the mod author time by not worrying about something that exists in other mods already!..

I got about 7-8 SMM mods and have no problem what so ever with WR or vice versa.
I put WR last in my build LO.

Just checked out Akira.. it seem to work nice, and I like the stuff.

The Akira mod has the fire hydrant from the Hubologists camp from Nuka World, I use setscale in console to get it to normal size I think setscale 0.12 or 0.11 is what I enter in console to get the fire hydrant to normal size sense it's huge in Akira's mod , I like the planters and plants, trees etc from it too!..

Owe it was the closed leaning step ladders that went missing in WR

Hello robboten: first a big praise for the good work V8.41
I have a question. Would it be possible to program a metal spiral staircase, as in the Netflix series Hill House? I'm up to something ;-)

      I'm not navmeshing it!

Also, please post a screenshot or two of the staircase, not a link to the Netflix series. I'm not sure it's all that fair to robboten, or to me, to have to go and watch a Netflix series just to see a staircase someone is requesting for a game workshop item. He may choose to go do that, and I have an interest in the show myself, but I have no idea when I'll get to actually watching it. I have a big list on Netflix I need to get to.

I do not know now, where the problem is !!! Everyone here should know what an old metal spiral staircase looks like. The series was only an example. But forget it, I already have a solution to the problem.
The original house from the series is Bisham Manor in Georgia USA, which I'm currently building on Spectacle Island, it looks good.

Thanks for letting me know about Bisham Manor. I live in Georgia and had never heard of it. Might have to get down to Lagrange one day to see it.

No need to get incensed about the Netflix thing, jeesh! You could have just linked a pic of a spiral metal staircase. The way you stated it made it sound like you were specifically asking for THAT spiral metal staircase. I believe g2m has some in his mod if you're in a hurry for them.

I've been using Snappy for some time, through a couple versions. I find the new version very hard to navigate, finding things I need is difficult. I will likely revert to an older build. I have been through the mcm and run the tape several times. Some things I used a LOT, just are not in the new version. I use the small town style houses almost exclusively.
Thanks for a great mod and all your effort.

You must have really used the crap out out of the few housekit themes that are not there anymore. That is pretty much all that was removed. Those, and the housekit garage. Those were removed in favor of a more modular approach to the houses. You can build a house just about any way you want now, with a huge array of both interior and exterior wallpapers to customize them any way you like. Yes, it may take a little longer to build a house than it did when there were pretty much only the frames available with some filler walls, but we thought customization ability outweighed keeping them. Plus, you can still create them with the different trims colors and wallpapers if you choose to.

I can tell by nearly all of your recent comments on here that you're not happy with the version 8+ releases. Please do feel free to go back to a previous version, that's why they're there.

So, I'm building a huge brick house using the small town set, and used a 3-floor stairwell with another single upper floor stairwell on top, and I can't get any wallpapers to stick to the stairwells. Housekit is the only wallpaper that seems to have stairs for the small town set, but the housekit stairs wallpapers don't stick to the multifloor stairs.

They all say "ground floor" but even on the ground floor they don't stick.

I kind of wish that wallpapers were just in the categories they work for? IDK if that works. They take forever to load but don't seem to have wallpapers for all the pieces. I know it's a lot of work but this gets limiting a lot.

I'm using the heck out of this mod and love most of it. Steep learning curve, but I'm getting there.

We'll have to see about getting snap points on those big stairs for the wallpapers. The wallpapers are by far the biggest pain of anything to do with this mod. It's about 120+ statics for every single wallpaper.

apologies if this has come up before, I read down a bit but have limited spoons for searching.

I can't get the curved base stairs to snap to the deco lobby floor. Or rather, they'll snap but they won't place, despite having place everywhere installed. I can't find any other curved stairs that will work, and will have to change that front otherwise. I'm building in Hangman's Alley, and used Scrap Everything (disabled the scrapping in snappy to do it).

Love the mod, otherwise, I'm making hangman's alley gorgeous because I can. There's an amazing amount of room once you clear out the preexisting buildings.

Yeah, remaking that alley is fun, made some pieces for DecoLobbyC just for that purpose. :)
Not sure about the stairs.. I know some of them can be tricky. Will look at it. Have you tried snapping the stairs somewhere else first and then see if the floor snaps to it at all?

I figured some out in other settlements and if I use placeeverywhere and turn off surface snapping while leaving object snapping on, things fight me less. Have to remember to turn it back on again, though.
