Thank you for this most elegant work decorating the landscape of desolation with flashes from an echoing past long gone. Thank you as well for showing how to use other billboard mods alongside your marvelous creation.

2.0 is up. You can uninstall the previous version before installing this. This will be updated continuously.

Note that the images above may not represent exactly what you see, depending on if you use things like ENB or graphic mods that change
lighting. It may be more or less bright or vivid for you.

Just in case I don't reply back for a while, know that I appreciate all of you
who download and enjoy the mods and upload the pics as well. Thank you!

Man, tough call on this mod. I love the look of course, but it really sacrifices on the lore. It's just not believable that so much power would exist seemingly at random in the Commonwealth just to light up signs and make it look pretty. Shame it isn't focused in the more populated areas/those already with power. Still, tough call. I do love me some neon/night lights in the city.

I disagree to a certain extent, you're right about the more populated areas. But, everything is fusion powered in the FO universe. Everything. Nuclear fusion can last a millennia before finally running out. It stands to reason that some billboards would still be up and running if they haven't been severely damaged or become disconnected from the grid.

Don't think the OP said it was lore friendly and so what if it isn't. Let's face it the game itself is flawed. There's much of the story that doesn't fit or work. People living all over the place yet everything is destroyed as if the war just ended yesterday. Apparently people lost the ability to clean up their dwellings or to do basic carpentry which I might believe if there weren't so many trees around. The only difference between an occupied house and a vacant one is some lantern in the corner. Bethesda just didn't bother to add new meshes for this sort of thing so we see the same damaged junk used over and over in places it shouldn't be. But then in settlements you suddenly have full on electricity, brand new TVs and beds etc.  Much of it doesn't fit. Think the only thing I might have done differently for this mod would be to use relevant lit-up ads. Like Hiring for Minutemen slapped over the top of some redundant prewar ad. You'd imagine people would either take the power source from these billboards or use it for their own purposes. But looks great regardless.

Some signs shouldn't even have lights are light up. A bit odd. having some of them lit up is pretty cool.

    YOU ARE A LEGEND
Even with 2K/4k textures and Beautiful ENB's this game is ugly. I've always wanted to get a neon lighting mod to make fallout 4 more sexy. Going to a nightclub that's blue lit and seeing the girls dancing & getting sweaty in there little white "dresses" glowing under the neon is super sexy.....HEY How about a neon lit Nightclub that's a player home. Homeplate in Dimond City !?!?!?

    Hello!
I'm using this mod as part of A StoryWealth collection and I would kindly ask you to tell me if this is compatible with 2287 - Billboards and Posters mod?

Thank you so much for helping with this! 🤩

Can someone please exaplin me the Bold section:
For custom or other billboard replacers ('2287 - Billboards and Posters' for example) covering the Commonwealth, Far Harbor, and Nuka World as
long as the default structure stays the same
    .
    ?
I'm using '2287 - Billboards and Posters' : 2287_Billboards and posters_ Complete + Far Harbor billboards and posters. Now, I've installed the following from this one : Ill Bill - All In One + Ill Bill - All In One Custom Billboard Replacer + Ill Bill - All In One Custom Poster Replacer. Issue is that this is a total of 4 .BA2s from the last 3 ones, so I'm kind of short on .BA2s. Can I simply unpack all these from Illuminated OR that's what "as long as the default structure stays the same" refers to, keeping them archived and not loose?

    Thanks a lot!

Looks fun. I'm  going for a very different look in my VR playthrough. Any thoughts as to why this seems to be totally non-functional in the VR version? (Generally speaking mods will work, although sometimes with less-than ideal results. In this case nothing happens at all.  It just seems to be completely non-functional.)
EDIT: Older versions still work and look good.

Do you plan to create a single version with all their recommendations??? Or do you think I could perform a merger of all of them without errors?

    Hi Ceaseless.
Would it be possible to make a mod to illuminate the billboards NO MATTER WHAT'S ON THEM?
    Many Thanks...
