What kinds of animations can be called by PlayIdle() I've been trying to write a script to get an animation to activate, do I need any specific keywords or events?
Hmmm. Sorry for the necro, but that's not true. Try this: player.caf animflavorsmoking to start and just player.caf to stop. I have two bat files with these lines in them, called cig1.txt and cig0.txt, and on each new mod setup, in the beginning test phase without a lot of mods, this is the way my char goes on break while I go on the balcony to light up IRL^^.
Hi, sorry to necro the necro! Do you know how to apply the same thing to NPC? playidle doesn't seem to work - I've resorted to posing NPC instead of being able to put them in a pre-set command like the one you listed. Obviously the NPC who smoke are calling on some animation, I am just at a loss for how to get them to do so on command
Cool, this is what I was looking for. Thanks. I would like to ask you for a favor. Does anyone know the commands for the chat animations (with hand gestures). I need it for the story slides. Thanks.
The executes are called Sync Kill animations. They are two-person animations matched up by race/skeleton data (hence the name "sync" kill). You cannot trigger them by animating just one actor.
By default, if you use your Vanilla setting powerattack key, and it would strike an NPC, and you would do enough damage with that attack to kill the NPC: then the animation sync triggers and both actors activate their animations, after which the poor sucker dies. Therefore if you're trying to set up a video or something that uses this, simply give yourself some ridiculous OP knife, name it "Prop Knife" or something, have it do stupid amounts of damage so you always one-shot things, and that should reliably murderify anyone you powerattack with it.
