Couldn't figure out the CTD as it turned out to be vats the whole time, funny because I did a no vats mod on my last play through, thanks for this mod!
Apparently the default VATS sound causes frequent crashes for some people across all platforms. I was losing huge chunks of progress on survival due to this bug. Since installing this mod the game no longer freezes, the game is LITERALLY impossible for me to play without. It would crash every 10-20 minutes before. It also lowers all the obnoxious noises from your luck procs, which is also nice.
Tried this only the vats selection is replaced, I thought in version 1.2 the grim reaper sound was replaced too, but it still sound like vanilla clang sound which grats !! ??
They say its the little things that shows that they care. This mod is one of those "little things" that changes the game dramatically and for the better. Thank you, Endorsed.
Any chance you could look into turning off or dimming the VATS spotlight too? In dark interiors, when you enter VATS, there's a super bright light on your target. It not only looks bad, but any immersive flashlight mod or interior lighting tweak is nullified.
