Love the mod as it is but I was wandering if it would be possible to get the clothes under the duster to be grey with jeans for pants?? Will be using it either way though
Edit: Using the darker coat in game and I'm very happy with it, disregard above comment
Thanks for the compliment. Just so you know, there is an outfit in game that has a leather duster with jeans. It's one of the better looking outfits, but the defense rating is terrible. I'd recommend getting one of the armor mods here on nexus to add ballistic weave to it.
Thanks for the compliments but I'm sorry, as I said 2 comments ago, I don't have any intention of reskinning the hat. Here's why:
1. As it stands, the hat still matches the outfit's green parts (pants, shirt, towel looking thing wrapped around the neck). 2. The hat is truly the goofiest (ugliest) hat in the game. I laughed when I first saw it and haven't had it on my character since. 3. Simply desaturating the cloth hat to "black" would not make it properly match the leather coat. To do that properly, the hat would need to be skinned in a leather texture. 4. Then you would have to edit the specular to make it shine like leather. 5. ... All that for a hat that I, personally, will never use.
There is a texture available on this site where the author desaturated the ENTIRE skin and darkened it. Maybe that's more what you were looking for?
If you'd like to experiment yourself, I'm positive that the hat is uv mapped onto the outfit texture (one of the few that are together like that). If you look on the texture itself, the hat should be the green circles and crescents just under the front of the coat.
Thanks for your compliments. I really wasn't planning on re-skinning the hat because the hat is roughly the same color green as the green undershirt on the skin.
I made it, but for some reason I can't upload it here. It keeps corrupting the 7zip file when I upload it. So, if you still want the black recolor, send me a PM with your email and I'll send it to you.
I'm assuming since you asked for the item id code, you are using the command console to add it to your inventory. For future reference, you can easily find out the item id's for anything in the game by opening the console in game, and typing the command:
Help "whatever you are looking for" 4
In this case you would type this:
Help "MacCready" 4
Then you would scroll up through the results with page up until you found the id.

Could you possibly also do the hat so i can have a matching black and brown for it?
Hope to see more work from you in the future
Was trying to made by myself and broke the coat
