    PLEASE read before posting!

Don't post "the mod isn't working" - I reserve the right to delete any such post like that, as I made it VERY CLEAR, in BRIGHT RED text in the mod description what you need to do if you already had the gun when you installed this mod...

    New version uploaded, tiny change:

    - Removed the "((Irradiates user.)" text from the end of the tooltip.

Also, that's not how "grammar" works, Bethesda! XD

Can you remove the "(Irradiates user.)" text from the mod description as well?

Hmm, you're right - that comes from the mod, not the gun.

I'll see what I can do...

Done. New version uploaded that removed the text.

This *may* actually fix the issue with the "enchantment" not being removed for people who already had the gun when they installed this mod.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW if you didn't have to manually remove the enchantment from your existing gun!

This is badly needed for those with radiation increasing/resistance decreasing mods.

It would also be cool to see weapon mods for it that add a larger charge pool or change the damage type.

"Adding charge" is probably not NEARLY as simple with a gun like this (basically a copy of how the laser rifle works), since it has an animation and sound effect designed for the length of "charge" they gave it.

As for "damage type", what you you even want me to change it to... There's really 2 kinds of damage in Fallout 4: "physical" and "energy". Sure there's "explosive" and "radiation" as well, but these are just as "illusion" - they use the other two damage types and a keyword to alter how they are "received" by the one hit by them (as well as what damage increases/decreases they get from perks or resistances).

...And this gun wouldn't make a lick of sense as either "physical" or "explosive" damage, and making it soely "radiation" (which would *barely* make any sense) would just mean the gun would be trash, as it would work on only two types of enemies: humans and "non feral ghouls" (for some dumbass reason), and not the other 20+ enemy types the game has that are all immune to radiation...

Seriously, they REALLY did not think the whole "radiation as a damage type" thing though... >_<

Great mod, going to try it soon, but I've been meaning to ask and couldn't find any answer:
If I gave the gun to a companion without this mod, would they take any kind of damage from it, radiation or otherwise?

I've never tried honestly (I travel with Dogmeat almost 24/7 since he's the only companion who can keep his gob shut lmfao), but I would *assume* that Beth was smart enough to include a check in the script for the enchant so that only the player would take damage when firing it (I'm not motivated enough to go dig up the script and try to decompile it though lol).
