    This mod is no longer being developed. If you want to use anything from this mod in your own, please DM me.

    Everything you do is light years above what SavrenX and Luxor8071 does.

    Your hard work and attention to detail is worthy of a Kudo and my full Endorsement.

    Very Respectfully,

    Is there still any green wasteland mod around that works with the actuall version?

    I can never get this to work. Some grass is green, but all the "grass patch" objects I see are always still brown

      '2.0 Pre-Release' is the one you want, or yeah, certain grass mounds and grass textures will be the vanilla color

      Thanks, I'll test that out. Hopefully it won't break the game by overriding the version I already have

      Didn't work. It made the ground grass brown while the patches stayed brown. Now only the long grass is green

    this may not be relevant to this mod but, does someone know to disable moving grass and tree animations in the game?

      Open the console and type "tg" to toggle grass.

      That's not what s/he was asking. TG will just get rid of it all. S/he wants to stop the movement. I have no idea how that could be done as I would assume the movement is part of the game engine?  I really don't know I'm just spitballing.

      A bit late but I think "BethINI"

      Has an option to turn off grass animation

      it has on skyrim so I assume fallout got too

      "TG" is to remove visible grass

      op is asking for grass animation

    Cheers for this - very much appreciated.

    As of December 2923, this mod is still working well. It changes the whole environment into something totally new, especially if you've been trudging around brown dirt for hundreds of hours...

    If you can't get this to work, it's likely conflicting with another mod, but it does work fine.

      No it doesn't. The file just contains grass textures.

    Mod still works after install now perfect but you guys need to use 2 esp same time for example in my case Grassland Unhealthy and then in optional Grassland  Unhealthy performance.

    All moders should take a look to Nuclear Reloaded 1.6 and 1.7, that russian guy is doing a good job, but he is facing some issues and the mod has no negative impact in performance. I think you can all work together.

      "mod has no negative impact in performance"
      It affects performance. I lose 30 FPS in VR.

      "In VR" being the key point here. Fallout 4 in VR is dicey at best, and it's unlikely ANY mod that alters the world significantly will work well or have good performance.

    problem with grass mods is the same as the problem in skyrim, its always so long that you lose bodies in it, and many items you're supposed to find in a playthough are on, or near the ground, with these 1 meter long grass mods... you'll be running right past 30% of the loot in the world.

    This would be a great mod if the length of the grass was cut in half, or maybe even a little more.

      For the bodies, I usually use one of the several mods out there that highlight bodies you haven't looted. My biggest issue with these mods is that the grass clips through the floors in settlements so you basically have to build everything on high platforms which looks bad. It's a give/take though as the mod looks great.

      @danwat801 you can change the height of the grass in your FO4 ini files.

      Go into your Fallout4.ini and look for this:

      [Grass]
      iMinGrassSize=40
      bAllowCreateGrass=1

      Yours may be different, but pay attention to the grass size.  The bigger the number, the shorter the grass. Best to keep this between 20 and 60, any more either way and things start getting wonky.
