This mod did a good job, I always thought that at the x2 setting, it was more natural and realistic. However I also use the Servitron mod, which adds a new pair of legs that look like a human pair of legs but as a robotic counterpart (imagine a Assaultron's legs but more refined). The carry weight for those legs are the same. I'm not really sure how to modify this.. perhaps make it compatible somehow? Regardless, I love this mod :)
I made this when I first started modding. All it does is change some numbers around. I don't intend to continue support for these older mods of mine, and I'll probably end up hiding them one day. If you have some basic knowledge of FO4Edit, open this mod up, see what values I've changed, and change the same values in the Servitron mod. It should only take a few minutes.
I really don't know how it works, but alright man. I didn't mean to implore. I'm just one of those lazy folks that expects to hit download and POOF, it works! First world problems.. lol. I'll look into that. I had an idea that it might be something in FO4Edit but I wasn't so sure what that program was all about. I'm complete noob in that subject.
It may be intimidating at first, but it's really simple to edit values in FO4Edit. There are heaps of tutorials out there for the tool, I suggest looking on YouTube. The potentially confusing part would be finding the relevant value in the Servitron mod. It's been so long since I released this mod that I can't remember exactly how I did things. I'm pretty sure I edited the carry weight bonuses of the Automatron mods, in which case I'm assuming that you can quite easily do the same for the Servitron mod.
So I recently downloaded your mod threw nexus and the carry weight of all automatons, including npc characters such as Ada and Codsworth, have been set to zero. No matter what mods I put on them the carry weight won't change. I tried uninstalling the mod because this makes my play style impossible however even with your mod removed the carry weight remains zero. Your mod is the only one I have that would effect the carry weight of any game character so I just thought I would see if you have any idea what may be causing this and if you think manually installing the mod might rectify this.
If you've installed this mod but haven't updated the effects of the carry weight modifications, as described in the description, your robot companions carry weight is just the default. I have never experienced it reducing their carry weight to zero. This, along with this issue remaining after you uninstall the mod, tells me that my mod is not the issue. I tested it out just the other day as well, when Hoogalindo made his post, and I didn't experience any issues. Even if it was the cause, and it shouldn't be, manually installing the mod shouldn't make any difference if NMM (or whatever other manager you're using) installed it correctly.
I just tested it out then and it appears to work without any problems. I assume that you've either got a conflict, you haven't actually applied any of the modifications to your robot companions that this mod effects, or you haven't completed the required steps to update the effects of any existing modifications.
If you give me more information I can be of more help.
