Why question what someone else has done? did your life change because a person didn't use console commands? No, Its a trick question it didn't. also what sun said
As Spinbox69 noted, you can accomplish this outcome with any faction, including any of the creature factions with the addtofaction console command. No need for mods for this. ---command--- player.AddToFaction 0001c21c 1 to add yourself to the player faction. 0=friend, 1=ally. ---factions list--- http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_4_factions
Skycrap, 2 is the setting for ally. 3 is friend. The issue is that due to how factions are coded, adding yourself to the supermutant faction is not the same as adding the player faction to supermutants and mutant hounds. I figured this out the hard way when making the beta release of my mod of the quest "human error". There's many issues. For example if you add yourself to a faction that's normally hostile, then save while in their detection range, and then reload, if there's one member of the faction that was out of range, then can become hostile and it will spread to the others.
Also consider if you add yourself to the supermutant faction and some mutant hounds get aggroed to you because you aren't in their faction, aggroing those hounds will make the supermutants attack you because while they are an ally to you, they are also allied to the mutant hounds. What you have to do is cross-reference everything
Yes, I second slaim1000's request and will soon endorse this! I excessively use console codes, both in Skyrim and this game. But after reading that explanation, I'd rather wait for a friendly raider mod. (b/c their attack dogs, mainly) Edit: Sorry, I got sidetracked but did come back to endorse!
