Life's been kinda crazy for a little while and I've been away from modding. Apologies for not responding to people's posts here and not getting anything done in terms of updates. I'm getting back into modding now and trying to find a bit more time for it.
I'm actually really glad to see that people have still been enjoying this mod, so I won't give up on it. I'm taking another look to try to get a finalized version of this going with the proper visual effect. Once I get the effect working properly I won't be likely to update this further (since I don't know what else I'd do with it) but I've got a few other ideas that I'll be trying to make in the near future.
No need for apologies amigo... life's what it is and that's that. Strangely, I just added one of your booths to a settlement mod on Far Harbor. Still prefer it over that arch the Bethesdians came up with.
Glad to see you back in shape and ready to tackle what really matters (detect slight tongue-in-cheek here )
I want to help you fix the upper part's logo that says "Abraxo Decon Unit" to look much better. I think you will like what I can do with it I designed all the custom holotapes for my mod Old World Radio - Boston.
Here is what I made here just now...
I was also thinking of making a Vault-Tec version for the Vault-Tec Workshop DLC for you! Send me a PM if you would be interested in my retextures for it. Was thinking it could be called "Vault-Tec Sanitation Pod"
@Bradoman Your retextures for this mod quite stunning, would love to see them as texture replacers under the optional file tab of this mod eventually if you both end up working together. Hope all comes to fruition.
Unfortunately this doesn't seem to work with the "Fizztop Grill workshop" mod for Nuka World. Not sure why though, I checked and I do have this running after it.
For anyone hesitant to use this mod because of the textures I suggest using Pulowski Preservation Shelter: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/33826 to re-texture the decon unit. You just have to rename the files (from falloutShelter to decon) and then place them into the Textures/politeraider/decon folder. DONE!
P.S. If you like the glass door just don't replace the door textures
Hi there! So, I'm able to see it in the miscellaneous resource menu (without any icon) and I can see the list of perk requirements and materials that are needed to be built but I can't see the booth. Even after I'll place it, the materials will just disappear without making any booth.
I'm about to start a new run-through and since I'm still using this here mod, I came to have a wee look to see if an update was available, if not for functionality then for beter texture quality, as the latter is slightly lacking...
Any progress on allowing Brandoman's retexture as an optional file (the first one; not the Sam L. Jackson Pulp Fiction texture)?
i ve a problem with this Mod. I have no icon in the Workshop Menu, blank position, but if i go to the blank position(Ressources/Misc) i can build the Booth and it works. But i miss the icon.
seems that PoliteRaider doesn't update the DeconBooth. To sad. It was a great idea and I wished he would add some nice visual stuff. There is the Build Your Own Pool mod with a Decon shower. It's not bad but I like the Booth much more. I hoped he would add something like green gas filling the booth as decontamination measure or something else...
Thanks, I'm glad you liked the booth. I am looking at this again now to try to implement a better visual effect.
In the meantime I will also add the link you've mentioned to the description to share with other people who might be interested in rad-removal options.
Thank you for this mod! I hope you decide to update it again, if you come up with any ideas for it or if it needs fixed. I have the War of the Commonwealth mod installed and it bugged my decontamination arch to hell, so this mod came in handy. Haven't been able to fix the bug, even after taking a while to redo load orders and asking for help.
Keep up the good work! It's still useful for someone that's in a situation like mine!

looks great. Hope PoliteRaider will finish his mod soon.

Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
Oh well, better late than never. Endorsed, of course.

I am happy to hear this. Visited your mod page from time to time in your mod to see if you are back... and now you are....
Keep on the good work.

I'm going to be taking another crack at getting this properly finished and animated before moving onto some other projects.
