Okay so someone installed this mod into my game, funny at first, but in the end I deleted it. The supermutants and random Npcs still have the audio files though. Does the mod just dump the original files or is there something that went wrong when I uninstalled it on NMM and can someone tell me how to fix it please?
though i can certainly see the comedy in such a mods, please refrain from actually making them. some of my friends are younger than me, and i hate to say yes whenever one of them asks if i know this mod.
I'm pretty new to creating mods but I was thinking of changing the voiced protagonist to Hulk Hogan. Is there anyway you can walk me through how you changed everything to fart noises?
Here's how I did it (taken from a response to a PM I got asking the same thing):
There's no real way I can give a quick rundown unless you know your way around the command prompt or at least have a basic understanding of programming; the best I can do is give you a list of tools to use and a quick explanation of what my script does (no plans on releasing it publicly at the moment).
Tools: xWMAEncode.exe (apparently packed with Microsoft's DirectX SDK) - Converts .WAV to .XWM and vice versa Bethesda Archive Extractor ( http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/78/? ) - For extracting the "Fallout4 - Voices.ba2" file in your "Fallout 4/Data" directory Voice file extractor ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/950/? ) - Can be used to extract voice/lipsync files, create new ones, and inject new audio into existing ones (that's what we're doing here) LameXP ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/lamexp/ ) - Converts your audio clips to .WAV (and other formats... but we need .WAV here)
In short, the script I wrote cycles through the voice file folder and selects a .FUZ file (which is the voice/lipsync file), pulls a sequentially-chosen .WAV file out of another folder and converts it to .XWM using xWMAEncode.exe and gives it the same name as the selected .FUZ file, injects the .XWM into the .FUZ, and then moves on to the next .FUZ in the list.

Maybe someone could make a mod that replace all those dumb, "sweets" and "nice" with Macho Man "Ooh Yeah!"
I LOVE THIS!!! At first I thought it would be stupid and sophomoric, and it was, BUT FREAKING HILARIOUS!!! Could you make a mod that replaces the dialogue with grunting and burping sounds added to the farting/raspberry sounds? And maybe make the farting sounds a little shorter? I want to play a low intelligence/charisma psycho/retard build, but the silenced protagonist isn't doing it justice because of the terrible dialogue options. I really do like the screaming when taking drugs like psycho as well. Great mod. Endorsed!
I have downloaded this mod, and while I will not be using it for my normal playthrough, I will be using it for another playthrough. +1 Endorsement for you, author man. It's a beautiful mod. I look forward to more hilarious audio-replacing mods. Maybe a new follower that only speaks in farts?
