I managed to get my hands on F4 Goty so i started a new playthrough after almost 3 years i wasn't playing F4 anymore!
Unfortunately i noticed that all my old preset seems to be not compatible with new Reshade 4.02. Also the main effect "colormood.fx" from old Reshade seems to be gone in new Reshade version. So i have done a new version of Decay for the newest Reshade suite. It's a bit different from any previous Decay presets but i think that the "Fallout 3-ish" mood is still there.
Let me know what you think!
I also want to thank you all for the huge support! It's one of the most downloaded/endorsed preset on nexus and i'm happy that many people still enjoy it! Thanks guys!
Scroll Lock turns it on and off, so I know keys are working, but I can't find the damn menu key. I accidentally reset my PC trying to find it earlier when I was just button mashing.
After playing for enough time, I'm officially never again going back to rainbow candyland vanilla FO4. This is just how the game should've looked originally. Excellent work πππ»ππΌππ½ππΎππΏ
Don't mean to ruin the party, but I don't think your ini file for Decay works any longer with ReShade, "again." I noticed that some of the filters in your ini were not activated by ReShade. There's been a lot of updates to this program since 2018. They seem to update it like every 3 months. That's been my experience using it with other games. Regardless, when I put it on my game, everything seems kind of dark. I found this annoying. It was even dark with the pipboy light on. I'm guessing it's not working correctly, or the colormood.fx not being available, like in past versions, has made it look darker. It's too bad, cuz the screenies look great. Those are probably outdated, huh? Not a true representation any more. Maybe?
FYI: I had all the needed filters installed in ReShade, so that wasn't the issue.
Just stared a new game with the DECAY preset and 10 hours into game I haven't noticed any problems. Looks great and works great for me. Using the 2019 file with the latest Reshade. Was very easy to install, just follow the tutorial.
Started playing now a new game with a fresh install of mods. I have used DECAY before and its a must have mod for me. Love the bleak, post apocalyptic feeling it creates in the game. Worked for me in 2015 and works in 2022. Using the 2019 file. Endorsed.
