Need to sort out the naming for when the barrels are added, also the blade on the Combat Knife. Need to also edit the blade .nif for the blood fx. The muzzle flash needs shifting slightly to the length of the barrels. All wip.
i have been trying to find a mod like this for so damn long the 38 receiver to the .44 is the main reason why i got this mod all i can say is you sir is a living legend thank you
Looks nice, I think I'll take a look. Just to ask, it looks like you've added an ejector rod (Evangaline pic), but the whole cylinder ejects, so I'm guessing it's there just for aesthetics. Anyway, looking good.
It's a mod I'm working on, I do plan to release the helmet very soon. I still need to finish the female version of the Desert Ranger Armour/Outfit and play with the textures a bit more. I'll probably wait for the Geck before I release the outfits.
There will also be some Fatigues/Shirts etc and a Riflemans jacket (the Green Jacket in one of the screenshots) which I will release on it's own.
(there's some various outfits in my screenshots if you want to see some work in progress).
Awesome mod, this was a much needed addition to my game, but you should do the deliverer and submachine gun next... those are the only other two guns which have very little mods
I carried around the .44 with 5 bullets for about twenty levels before I found anymore ammo!
Yup, this solves that issue. It's also not too powerful even though it sounds it (it would be cool to have a seperate sound for the receiver). I just wanted an aestheticially pleasing Revolver from early game, hence the mod.
^ Yep, that's it. Just moved the "44" folder into the Texures>Weapons subfolder, and everything works now. How the f*#@ did I miss that earlier...
Edit: Now that the texture issue is licked, my only gripe is the recoil. I've done a fair bit of shooting with a long-barreled (6.5" specifically) .38/.357 revolver, and the in-game recoil is about three or four times worse than my Blackhawk, even loaded with .357 magnums. I know it's probably impossible without the CK, but eventually I'd love to see caliber changes affect the actual recoil/firing animations.
Texture are still messed up,i don't know what's wrong x) I'm apparently not the only one so it might be something that you missed But this mod is still great,even more if the texture were not messed up as they are x)
It does all appear correct, correct files and everything. Do you have Nifskope? That's all correct when I view it in there. All I can think of left to do (once I've made a cuppa tea), is change the texture paths within the files in Nifskope, Even though it should be reading the .bgsm.

I would like to edit the sound of the .38 receiver amongst a few more things. I'll take a look further when the Geck drops.
