Added an update that will fix the issue where the lens darkens at night time and indoors just install and click yes to all to overwrite all. And dont worry this will not overwrite any texture you are currently using.
I was wondering how to use the various texture swaps, do I install them after the original agcp lens retexture and glow fix or am I missing something, I was hoping to use the total weeb version
Query, as I'm about to start toying with things for my personal use/trying to do this, would it be possible to set the different textures up as material swaps of sorts? I think so, mostly because I've seen other modders do it with their own, but I'm unsure and thus figured I'd ask, just to make sure.
EDIT: I'm a ditz, per usual. This would be an edit of the Scouter Lens itself, not something to edit the textures here for. (E2: Aside from renaming some perhaps.)
There is already material swaps in the original mod, so you can change the lens color as well as a black or white scouter. Using AGCPs textures here will, I believe, change all of the lens color textures in my original mod, but you'll still have to settle on one "style". So no need to edit the original mod to have multiple lens color options with these textures.
So many goddamn separate files dude, just make them all into one single damn file to download,Jesus Christ man you're not paid by the amounts of separate downloads,no offence but you overcomplicated this whole mod simply by making it into 10+ different files
Feel free to bugger off and not use it. The author probably didn't know how to make installers for mod managers, therefore users would have to either download the lot, then unzip the files and work out the optional components themselves while also removing the ability to simply "install with mod manager". Seperating it in to seperate files allows for customisability without wasting users bandwidth and retaining the ability to install archives as is without further need to unzip and recompile. I'm not sure why i'm bothering explaining any of this to an entitled scumbag who's too lazy to click a few buttons. Your reward for this outburst, is a simple ban to all of my content on Nexus, rendering this retexture useless since it requires my scouter mod to work... have a nice day.
Sometimes you just get fed up with it. I don't mind constructive criticism but not when it's laced with a sour air of entitlement. I'll always take requests under consideration, but I won't respond well to demands or insults.
just started modding fallout 4 as i only got the game recently and i was just wanting to know the last pic u have uploaded showes the scouter on the right side instead of the left can u tell me how to do that thanks
