Sorry only just had a notification come through about this comment.
You need to have Weaponsmith Extended installed as well... plus all the weapons that go with it. It is not a small undertaking and really only useful if you are running tons of weapons.
Okay, so, maybe it's the early hour (5 a.m. here) or maybe I've just become plain dumb (must have happened overnight), but I don't quite understand the purpose of this for a player.
What are the advantages of this mod in regard to using stand-alone weapons and Weaponsmith Extended? If it's solely for debugging purposes, why would I as a non-modder use this?
First of all lots of plugins that are quite popular don't support the Weaponsmith version of the guns yet. A good example of that is Combat Scopes
If you want a combat scope on a particular weapon, you would have to use the original.
The problem then is that both versions of the weapon would appear in game, with the same names.
Also in game if you have used Weaponsmith, you can still have mods appearing for weapons other than the weapon you are equipping. THis helps you tell the difference between the mods.
And then there is the other bug where if you equip 1 weapon, and then go to add mods to another weapon, the mods from the weapon you have equipped will show.
Using this plugin there are no mistakes, unless you make them intentionally
