It would be cool if there were a mod for adding droplets  to the screen effect.

I love it. This mod makes the Commonwealth and Nuka World rainstorms sound so beautiful!

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to affect the rain for Far Harbor rainstorms. But I can live with that :)

    VOLUME:
    With FO4Edit, find weather records
In weather records find sound decriptor records
go to those sound decriptor records
    change static attenuation
    larger number = less volume
    smaller number = more volume
You can change almost every volume in game

This mod gives you duplicate sounds with more volume hassle free
There are no possible conflicts, only Mod Manager failures

A bit too loud i think since I can't properly hear what my companions are saying. But maybe that's because I have true storms mod as well. So ill stick to that one for now.

An old post but worth responding to for these reasons:

      1) It will absolutely be due to that other mod, because you can hear companions easily enough. It's not a massive difference to default, it just makes the rainy sounds more obvious. Of course you could tweak voices up & effects down in the main settings...

      2) ...Indeed, that's why I needed this mod - I hate many effects sounds (guns, buildings, etc) so set it fairly low (and voices maxed to hear folk, in every Fallout game) but that meant I could never hear rain at all except (barely) during storms, yet with this mod I can hear the rain quite well again. And because of my overall effects settings being low, I use the louder version.

My thanks to the modder. Endorsed

You either install it with one click in NMM, or put it in the data folder manually. It's literally the easiest mod to install on Nexus. All the stuff about the ini. file can be ignored now. It was an oversight by Bethesda when F4 released and it was eventually corrected. You originally had to do that to run any mod.

Then, is not necessary to do anything else than installing both louder sounds via NMM now?

Hey ! Thank you for your work.
I'd like to ask you how do you increase a specific sound's volume in F4 ? I've tried to make a new Critical sound but it's not loud enough. I've tried to amplificate it with Audacity before converting to XWM but it still plays as the same level in-game no matter what the volume of the sound file is.
    Thank you for helping me.
