Thanks for this info. With this mod (pt. 1 to 4) and your texture detail setting (instead of high or ultra) textures look best - like HD - on my rig as some flickering here and there on wood or metal wall surfaces faded away
Old mod which has not been updated, constant CTD's , don't use it with the latest patch, nothing but trouble. Other than that it does make the textures nicer.
This mod and all other "sharper ..." mods are worth to try out - with or without comparing images. No chances to take here, just textures you can install and uninstall without taking chances for your game save as they are not combined with or involved in an esp or esm file.
Worth it to try - otherwise you could miss a good mod and work, imo
nun,über mod manager gings nicht, ist keine esp datei, daher habe ich die texturen datei einfach in data ordner eingefügt, voila!!! fallout wie es sein soll! my mod manager will not work with many data, then i put your texture files in data file and that work very greatly. man, i,m so happy!!! ) i love you
I love these types of mods and this one looks particularly good, however until all the textures can be placed into a single compressed archive that Fallout 4 uses, these types of mods create massive pop-in issues for me. If youre using a SSD, its probably not an issue, but on my 7200rpm seagate, loose texture files have always created pop-in issues. I'll be keeping my eye on this mod, and hopefully in the future when the authoring tools are out, someone will create compressed archives for these.
When I get ready to redo the Fallout 4 Seasons mod when we get the Creation Kit, I may have to chat with you. :-) I was hoping to do a lower res version of the mod for folks that want it, but having to work right from the vanilla textures would be a pain. These textures, however, are a lovely improvement without too much FPS hit, and would be an awesome base to work with to implement the Seasons recolors and tweaks! Very nice job.
Yep, poor folks like me need the 512 version..i run a 5 year old piece of hardware, so it's struggling. I've tried your texture last night, it was absolutely beautiful..unfortunately it was too much to handle by my system (Phenom 2 965, HD 6850 1GB, 4GB RAM).
man this mod really helping me to enjoy the game and fix my texture problem,my texture is faded, idk why i already setting the graph to ultra but it's doesn't work,so when i instal this mod.it's fix my faded texture problem

Mod author, THANK YOU!!!
My gaming rig is a 5 year old piece of hardware..so it's quite struggling to run Fallout 4.
Downloading the mod now, hopefully the FPS hit won't be too much.
