I recently DL and played with this mod, and it worked perectly. It snapped into place perfectly as well. I built the first floor, leaving one space in the center open, and then added the elevator (3F version), and then built the other floors off of it. The floors snapped into place correctly (I used the double floored one from the barn tab I believe), but as for people stating the elevator is shorter than the others, mine seemed to be a little taller than the normal (wood, metal) walls, hence why I used the double layered floors, and it lined up perfectly.
This is beautiful and would be perfect for a glassy futuristic settlement. Please fix for these issues: 1. Height of elevator should match default floor height. 2. Settlers and companions should be able to use it independently.
I wished the craft-able institute elevators had more space between floors but other wise I like the elevators a lot even it it been sometime since it was updated.
