There is a link to the website. It was taken down in protest by the author do to some modpack thing that is bothering many modders. Fallout 4 Seasons Project
I always wonder how effective that form of protesting is. to me it seems like it mostly effects the people that just want to use the mod and have nothing to do with what the mod creator is protesting but i could be wrong
it's super sad that the mod author for seasons is a part of that whole overreaction happening around mod packs. it really does only do damage to the modding community.
@Daelyn, thanks for the link. I think their mod is temporarily off-line again but that site is worth tracking.
@the rest of you. Taking mods away from big sites like Nexus might make your life less easy but won't hurt the modders community!
As a retired modder my sympathies are 100% with the modders, not end users complaining about not being able to find mods. The problem with the collections/packs thing is that modders lose direct control of their mods. While 95% mods don't have copyright (because most of them infringe pre-existing game copyright in some form, or use copyrighted game tools/lore, etc), modders still need to have full control of their mods for many other reasons. They may not agree with a site allowing other content they deem improper. They may feel they no longer want something in the mod reminding them of a partner they were with at time but who is no more. They may be unhappy with the initial reactions or demands of users. They may just want to later remove personal contact info in a readme. They may have borrowed content from another modder who subsequently withdrew their permission. I had all this and more (a single sound file copyright breach) in the last of my mods I took offline. Only to later discover some gamers had re-uploaded it (an overhaul for Combat Mission) in several places elsewhere, with all these problems intact and my contact details not theirs.
Fortunately they each responded to a direct request to take the files down. But the host sites - Battlefront Forum, Drop Box, Internet Archive had all either not replied or demanded I provide legal documents of published copyrights etc before they'd act at all - they wouldn't even remove my name and email address from the readme files. And that is why I sympathise with the modders, not you. Sorry.
@insanaety I think a lot of people care. I think they care so much that they make content of quality that major developers would charge for in blood and gold, but completely for free. Don't just assume everyone is as bad a person as you are. I don't even agree with the effectiveness of the so called protests, but just answering people like a prick is uncalled for.
don't know if this is reply will be reachable but I have the files if you are interested not sure how I would upload it without issues if you know what I mean
These look better than the over saturated autumn trees though but....the distant LODs need to match the new textures though...

:O patch maybe?
EDIT: pro tip just use the green and orange replacers and hide the yellow and maple repalcers to make your game compatible with LODS and still fix the (problem) trees the bright orange and greens.
hey, love the look of this! I was just confused about if it makes a difference what season I'm using? I can't find anything about it in the description (I'm using the summer version) cheers
If I'm not mistaken, the Summer/Spring versions have the tree meshes pointing to different textures. I'll look into later. For now, this mod will play nice with the Autumn (Fall) version of the Seasons Project.
From the description:
"v1 Trees - The first pack includes 5 textures that alter some common Elm and Maple. These were made for use with the "Fall" version of the Seasons Project."
File name in download section:
"FO4 Seasons FALL v1 Trees Color Patch"
I plan on uploading a patch for a few plants/shrubs next week. After that I might do a patch for a few ground textures. After that is all uploaded, then I'll be moving over to patches for the Spring/Summer versions. Probably going to skip doing any alterations for the Winter versions of Seasons Project.
Awesome! I am using Summer Textures at the moment, meh? my PipBoy says it is Summer, so Summer textures it is. Winter was brutal, always raining and snowing, ... Spring was nice, a little wet, but nice.
Looks great... I have a mashup of several mods going on to give my wasteland that perfect autumn look, and this was just what I needed to balance out the colors. Thanks!
LOL, I know man. The meshes are truly terrible. But... we just have to make do for now. And thanks for the compliments ! I did try for a more realistic Autumn. The vanilla Pre-War textures that the Seasons Project meshes point to were way too bright and colorful for me. More improvements on the way, so track this mod if you are interested.

this mod is under rated.

Kudos to you, keep up the good work!
I just hope someone mods in new tree meshes when the GECK comes out; the vanilla ones ain't pretty.
Thanks again and take care
