Hey, a lot of people have been asking me to add more stuff to this, and I might sometime but I have other priorities right now in real life and in modding
So, I made this sticky to tell you, if you are feeling bold and are comfortable with editing xml code you can add anything you want to this. Even if you do not understand xml, if you take a look at the codes you can probably understand how to add things fairly easily. I didn't know anything about this stuff until I found Neanka's mod.
All you have to do is right click the xml file called DEF_CM_1.xml included in this mod and right click > Open with > Notepad (or your preferred text editor, I suggest Notepad++ or similar program. See screenshot.)
You can even make your own DEF_CM xml files in addition to this one. Name them DEF_CM_2.xml DEF_CM_3.xml etc... (Forget how many slots you can make here). Just make sure any other mod doesn't use these DEF_CM slots. I know there are a couple that do or used to.
heya, iam playin on 3840 x 2160 resolution which makes the text in the mod and console in general super small... figured out how the get the other / regular text bigger with a edit in the fallout.ini file but the text from this mod remains the same small size... is there a way to make it bigger also?
New PC - new Window 10 - FO4 reinstalled - old child sickness - looking for old mods - accidentally came across this very helpful mod - Thanks!
Problem - "Picked Non Ref AV Object:" no matter where I click, garbage, grass, buildings, etc.
Some old mod on my old wrecked PC with Windows 8.1, I was able to click ALL objects in the world of Fallout 4 and get the Ref and Base ID's to use them in XEDIT.
Does anyone happen to know which mod I'm missing? Thanks in advance for a helpful answer!
Edit:Problem - "Picked Non Ref AV Object: fixed! ( no Mod: Fallout4.ini [General] bUseCombinedObjects=0 ) No one can remember all the subsequent changes in the *.ini's.
Did a kind soul ever end up editing in the remainder of the the XML while Doombased was away? Would really love to spawn Far Harbor and Nuka World enemies quickly and easily.
I can certainly add them to it and send you a file, if you want. I'm trying to figure out if this is compatible with Better Console. I assume not, because the two console.swfs would overwrite each other, but maybe.
So when you both hit the tild key in console on pc , you dont see Console command in the top right corner and neanka's name in the left corner ? Like the screenshots shows ? What mod Organisers are you both using ?
Awesome Mod! Thank You Soooo much for your hard work unless it was all copy/paste ;) Speaking of copy and paste do you think you can add Get and Mod Health to NPC Manipulation?
You know for fun and testing and s*** Though I don't remember the differences between modav and setav, though most of my reading suggests setav can ruin your game
