I've been using your mod for days without issues, that i'm aware of anyway.
I've decided to yank any plugins that mod authors do not explicitly mention FO4Edit used until GECK is out, which will be my requirement for my use at that time. So far I've yanked 3 plugins from my game layout and going down the list. Glad I am going to keep yours.
Hm I'm not sure about his mod, seems totaly op for the first look. Will try it, cause atm i took your +3x dmg and now its at 200.. But +2x dmg is just going to 136 or something, a bit less as the Plasma Sniper Rifle.
I'm not a gun expert, but I know that 50 cal rifle round are pretty damn big and the damage should reflect that. Currently the damage is pathetic and a hunting rifle, with perks, Ace Operator etc, is still way too weak for late game.
Great, albeit simple, mod! Combined with replacement animations (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/30159), I was able to make the Hunting Rifle useful and function properly!
The 50 caliber upgrade for the rifle is pitiful, increasing damage by like 15 or something, but this mod does what it says and makes it usable as a primary weapon. Watch out for Super Mutants!
Might I suggest a Damage Increase mode for the DB? Kinda dumb that the combat shotgun does more damage in my opinion. There's almost no point in using a DB if you have a combat shotgun which sucks :c

All that said, any plugin or plugin combo can run risk of causing downstream corruption issues.But, it is clear Snip is higher risk.
