Update 1.6 will see a variety of changes that will negatively impact your settlement(s) where this mod is heavily used. I suggest waiting with the update for a new save unless you are willing to fix missing and misplaced items. Read the changelog!

This is going to be the roundup update - most likely no more new content will be added to this mod, only bug fixes.

Just downloaded this mod, so far it's amazing but I was wondering how do you get the ladders to work? I noticed you can press E to climb them but even when I put a landing on the top I still can't climb it. I hear the noise of climbing the ladder but I stay where I am on the lower level.

Press E and walk forward at the same time.
      Or press E and W.

Ladder doesn't work at all. Moving forward and holding use at the same time doesn't work. Climbing sound is played when the player releases the use key, but nothing happens otherwise.

I never made it work either but I do use other settlement mods so I guess there's a conflict there somewhere

If you want a functional ladder, even for NPCs, use JaL - Just a Ladder (redux). A gem of a mod.

Which file did you download?  If you took the main file did you already download the Master Plan, or did you take the no Master Plan File?

good mod, but companions and npcs can't seem to be able to use the stairs, they'll stuck at the start or end of the stair like if there's something blocking their way.

i love this mod, its exactly what i was looking for. somehow no one else creates their stairs in a way where they can be repeated without looking like two stair pieces snapped together.

Where in the build menu do these show up???? I've checked all of the structures menus and I can't find them. (I have the non-master plan version)

Check under structures near the left of the menu. Where the walls and floors made of wood or metal etc are. Go to the extreme right and then up. They were there for me once.

How do the ladders need to be situated in order to function? I.E. can they be allowed to clip a bit below a surface, do they absolutely HAVE to snap to an object, or can they function free-standing? Because I cannot get them to work in conjunction with a horizontal floor-based hatchway, where I am coming up from below decks.

Im not sure I fully understand Ur question, but,
No U dont have to snap the stair, stairs have their own navmesh (hopefully) or they is just a link to getting from A to B.
Snap-points is just for more easy building in general :)

After another mental vacation from gaming i am back to cause problems for the would be survivors of the wasteland. As always, your mods are the tops of my download/upgrade pile.

I really like what you did with this particular menu. The added content and ease to find it, is simply and truly wonderful. Thank You!

Wow, those extra conveyor belt pieces would be awesome if they could snap to the stock pieces and Machines, and Better Manufacturing parts.
Those tight corner pieces would be a godsend for making smaller layouts.

So far, I can only get the SLR pieces to snap to other SLR pieces, so the usability for me just isn't there unfortunately. :/
I'd try and fix it, but working with nifs isn't my forté

Yea, I remembered that long after I was done. Otherwise tho, all the pieces snap to normal vanilla sets - floors to floors, railings to floors et al.

So what would I need to do to get the snap points on the conveyors to work?
Is that covered in one of your tutorials?

Those short corner conveyors are too good to pass up

Add P-Conveyor to each end of the piece.

In the nif. You can't add snap points anywhere else.

From the looks of it, there's a P-Conveyor point at the end of each piece already, however, they don't line up with the P-balcony points, which look like THEY are where the P-Conveyor points should be.

However, that's because I've only ever edited Luminescence and Texture paths when making Glowing nifs.

You're going to want to go thru the pieces I made and rename them to P-Conveyor instead of P-Conveyor01. Not sure why I named them so.

Keep in mind these don't work like the DLC ones, that is a fair bit too complex.

Nah, it's cool. I got the max files saved for these, fixing it takes a few seconds. Make a bug report so I can remember.

Cool mod! Would it be possible to add these fixes into a future update for us incompetents?
