I tried the normal file first, and then the no godzilla roar version, and the latter does indeed HAVE the godzilla roar.

Inspecting the folder, there is a second mp3 file with a non-godzilla sound, but it's not the same format (xwm) so i'm unsure if the game can play it correctly.

I've decided to abstain from deathclaw sound mods becaues I prefer my undergarments remain relatively clean (I hate deathclaw encounters enough to begin with), BUT I will say - these sounds are very nicely done. The Godzilla effect is a very nice and novel touch given the 50's retro vibe of...well, the entirety of fallout. A Godzilla-roaring deathclaw encounter at Starlight Drive-in would be very nifty. As an audiophile, the only complaint I would have is that these sounds have reverb baked in (on top of a reverb mod that makes them sound somewhere between slightly unimmersive and utterly terrifying), but that's really not a big gripe. Kudos and endorsed!

Not gonna lie, but these are terrible.. They cut at the worst part, not even a fade out is added, and them being all different doesn't make that much sense :(

Terrible? No. Amateur? Yes. I was new to working with sound at the time. I no longer play Fallout 4, so you're more than welcome to try something that meets your standards, or craft something of your own.

The mod author can't control cutting; that's on Bethesda's game engine and the way the Deathclaw's attacks are scripted. If you listen tot he audio files themselves, they're actually very well done.

Does this impact the foot step and attack/swing audio files?

Had a terribly amazing moment with this mod added while I was inside a vault doing the first part of Fusion City. They have a Deathclaw named Spike who is smaller looking, but his mesh or whatever was still regular DC size. He was trying to get down a vault staircase (unsuccessfully), I was in the staircase and I also had the Ambient Reverb mod. By coincidence I had just hit VATS to attack the Child of Atom I was fighting when Spike let out this Godzilla roar. You can imagine how that must have been at VATS 4% speed with Godzilla's roar reverberating in the small stairwell. The speakers made the desk sympathetic I think because I felt his roar through the desk and mouse. That's how it might be like with a real size Godzilla if you were standing too close to that massive chest - shake you to pieces.

To not have the Godzilla sounds, only install these folders:

    Sound/FX/NPC/Deathclaw/Attack
    Sound/FX/NPC/Deathclaw/Injured
