+ improved normal maps for more details and depth!
also new MIXED COLORS version added! Olive Green and Rusty Brown vines together ingame in some locations.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Installation Instructions if you want to use two other Ivy Recolors together:
1: Install the color you want as MAIN ivy color the usual way (NMM or manually) (in most locations you will only see this one kind of ivy (texture name „Vines01...“))
2: Manually download the second ivy color you want - unzip the file open the folders until you are in the „plants“ folder > there are 6 textures inside
3: Copy the 3 textures named „NFMossVines..“ - and put them into the right folder of your main FO4 game directory > data/textures/landscape/plants! Let them overwrite the textures that are already in there!
Done! Now you can enjoy your 2 different Delightful Ivy colors ingame! :)
EDIT: all possibly confusing version number issues fixed! All colors are version 1.1 as of now (even the mixed one)... so I hope all mod managers will be happy now and won't bug you with false update reminders.
This is a post with images and my load order showing the issue I'm having with this mod. I consider it essential at this point because vanilla ivy looks so incredibly bad, but nothing I am doing can fix this weird transparency issue. Disabled other mods, redownloaded this one, tried a different color of it, all to no avail.
It was Parallax, turn it off in the enb.ini if you have this issue.
In some places (like on walls/buildings) it looks natural. But hanging off wires and such, doesn't look right. I think the ones on wires and such is suppose to be moss, not ivy.
I say, thank you (and your fellow re-tinting elf helpers). I wasn't really looking for HD but am potting together a couple of different landscape retexture sets to manually swap-out for some simplistic seasonal change. The green ivy in my garden barely changes colour seasonally, but I'm going purely for effect, not accuracy. 1k is normally good enough for me but the vanilla ivy can often look a bit too low-res, even against all the otherwise standard-res texturings I'm using, and so having just them in bespoke 2k is an exception I'm very happy to make. Regards.
