Have you considered making a version that's made with a couple Fusion Cells instead of acid and lead? There's all these high-output standardized batteries scattered across the commonwealth, why not put them to use?
A quick suggestion for an update, though I'm not expecting much since this mod has been unchanged for a year: Make the switch a bright yellow, orange, or red to distinguish it in both the build menu and after it's been placed. That, or include a yellow stripe circling from top to bottom placed to the left of the flipswitch. That would fit the vault-tec aesthetic and signify electricity. Either way, great mod!
Extremely useful, thanks a million. I was thinking of asking if you could make a 2 power option (I have laser turrets in mind), but then I had this thought... I would love to learn how to start modding, I am always so impressed by what you all can do. Maybe tweaking this one to up the power output to my liking could be my first crack at it. How would I do it? Any advice on this and how best to get started in general would be appreciated. I've just found some youtube vids, will start there I suppose.
Thanks again, little mod with a large and useful impact.
Yep, youtube makes for the best tutorials in this case. Glad you're inspired to make the small changes that start off the process of making your own mods, it's definitely quite a feeling to find your own tiny but significant changes as you play :D
Personally I used FO4Edit for nearly all my mods, since the GECK hadn't been released when I was still making these. It's a really quick, simple tool compared to the Creation Kit, but it's not as clean or stable of a result. If you're learning from the ground up, may as well start with the GECK :)
just tried to download this neat little mod but all i got was .......Server Unreachable: nxm://fallout4/mods/10311/files/40080 .....................help!! ( great mod BTW )
