Hi, I logged in for the first time in about 2.5 years.

Load Accelerator seems to still work and be effective with NextGenUpdate (1.10.980.0.1).

I don't know if this mod is worth using in the future, but there seems to be some confusion on how to apply it, so I added a few things to the description. Also added Troubleshooting and FAQs article. Thank you to everyone who posted information.

I hope that the loading time issue will be officially resolved.

Someone please help me lol. Did I break this mod by downloading ENB? How can I revert the changes I made without bricking my save? I can't live without this mod

I was able to easily remove all files added by enb and the preset that I chose and reinstall this mod with no issues. I'm going to follow the instructions now on how to use this mod with ENB and reinstall

I made a post about it in the forum, but not much seems to happen there, so I'll add it as a comment as well:

The FPSLimitInGame setting in the .ini file doesn't seem to work.
I've set it to 60 but I still get 120 fps in game, which in itself isn't too bad, but I suspect this is why the game suddenly crashes to desktop roughly every 2-3 hours.

May I suggest an entry for the FAQ for people who have multiple screens (monitors / TVs)?

Making sure that all of the screens are set to use the same refresh rate should fix it if the rest is properly set up.

Also works when you use in-game mods. Excellent and a must have. June 24.

For anyone having the acceleration never turn off, find "AutoDetectLoadingState = true" in the Load Accelerator config file and change it to "AutoDetectLoadingState = false". That is what fixed it for me. It then started to act properly and only kick in during loading screens.

Yes! This fixed it for me too. The defined value for ingame fps had no impact unless I changed the "AutoDetectLoadingState" to false.

Works like a charm, with GSync and fps fixed to 82 (1/2 refresh rate). Feels very smooth and no physics acting weird.

      Thanks man!

Oh my god thank you for saying this I was going bonkers trying to figure out why the ingame fps wasn't capped when I set it to 83

Confirming this mod still works great on 1.10.984. Load times without are 30-60 seconds, with mod 3-5 seconds. Fantastic mod. I increased the limits from 350 to 400fps and it's slightly faster even, since it often hits 380-390fps while loading on my PC. Zero crashes and doesn't break Steam achievements.

Thanks god, this is top 1 mod for Fallout 4, especially after their "Next Gen Patch" that only broke a lot of mods and didn't fix such a big problem as loading time. I have Samsung 970 Evo+, all other games loads less than 10 seconds but in fallout you have to wait 1-2 minutes and it ruins game experience so much.
After this mod installed it loads small levels in 3 seconds and outdoor Commonwealth in 5-8 secons, it feels like almost instantly.

Bethesda should hire this author, he's made much more for this game than developers in 8 years.

I just started playing F4 again now. Running at 100Hz. Load screens took a few minutes (!!!). Or I could alt-tab out and back in for near-instant loads. Super annoying.

All I had to do was download this mod, copy the dll and ini into the game directory, and bam, instantly working properly.

    Thank you to mod creator.

I honestly cannot believe Bethesda can mess such basic things up.

This mod was great for its time but unsure why it is being voted for MOTM when the High FPS Physics Fix mod fixes this and more, there are two lines in the mods config file called "DisableBlackLoadingScreens" and "DisableAnimationOnLoadingScreens", if you set both of these to true you get super fast load times in addition to all of the other engine fixes the High FPS Physics Fix mod offers.

Apologies to the mod author as it's not my intention to dump on your mod, it's just that I feel it has been superseded by this point.

This one doesn't require F4SE and the other one does. And this is why i use this one. I've had the infinite load screen bugs and or corupted saves in other Beth games. So with Starfield and Fallout4 i'm going semi minimalist ie not using any script extenders or vortex or whatever. I want manual install options only or i'm not using the mod.

Op your mod works perfectly as is. Load times are insanely fast now. Thanks dude.
