I dont get it. People spend a lot of time and effort to make and add a new gun to a game... and then totally drop the ball on the last few steps, when it comes to stats... Thats just sad. Such a cool gun, but completely unusable piece of junk because of its ridiculously low dmg and absurd rate of fire. Yeah I know its realistic rate of fire, but if you bring realistic gun to an unrealistic gun fight it doesnt end well.
You obviously know nothing about this firearm because you just described exactly how it performs in real life. Also it was balanced with the vanilla weapons. If you don't like it don't use it or change it yourself... I just don't get it...
Uhm yeah it does... thing is everything else in game doesn't. Realism isn't always good. In real life it's fine to empty 30 round magazine in a second, cause all you need is one, maybe two hits. In game you need all the 30 rounds to do the job, with such pitiful damage.
Aside the fact that i doubt in real life you need 30 bullets to kill something, so realism in videogames isn't ever possible, otherwise any weapon should have as damage "depends on vital you hit" but it's not the damage itself that makes this useless, but the fact that if you use automatic fire you end shooting to the sky after one second. I don't know how you deal with that, but for me, either there's a way to edit that on the ck or it's completely useless. I already tried, but i haven't the slightest idea on this new ck how to edit that. In the previous i guess was "spread" but in this one i don't even find that value.
I don't understand, dude. Why would you use an M11 mod if you don't want a blistering RoF? Find an M10 or other SMG mod like a UMP. If you don't wish to edit the stat values yourself, play on survival, tweak the global damage modifiers or use a damage overhaul for 'realistic' damage.
I WISH to edit stats myself, and I DID edit stats myself, but it didn't change a lot. Maybe i didn't edit the right ones. And if by "get gud" Doombased means "improve your editing stats skills" well, sure, he could have pointed us which ones need to be edited just for being nice, or it would have been easier simply don't even bother, or say "Doombased mod is law!" Besides, you are capable to hit with an incredible rate or fire? Without always end by shooting at the sky? Now that i think of it, i don't give a shit. Doombased, if you can do me a favor just delete all my comments and be done with.
I love this mod but for some reason the fire rate is so high that the audio doesn't even match the speed of bullet exiting the barrel... Had to edit the speed multiplier on F04 Edit to make things right.
