I have officially moved on from Nexus modding. All of my mods are free to use, modify, patch, compile, etc. however you see fit, just credit me. I will not be responding to messages - do whatever the hell you want, just don't ask me!
Meanwhile in 2023 - who still have this mod in modlist get it out. Not working anymore as should. Several issues, biggest one is that it totaly mute sounds coming from behind. So many nasty surprises because I did not hear someone/something approaching. If you using Heather Casdin as companion, you will also loose all her funny comments during your common travels. I thought first that there is something wrong with my new PC sound settings. Took me a couple of hours to try all possible sound setting until I decided to disable this mod which I always used in past and this was the proper solution. Unendorsing and removing from my mod compilation.
Used it for several playthroughs back then and many problems including muted as well as over amplified audio are all over the place. It's a good concept but sadly defunct
Just wanted to comment on here to make sure people don't miss it.
If you want an up to date version of this mod with all the various tweaks and patches rolled into one as well as adjusted sliders for the 'best' reverb etc.
Please check out my mod, developed in VR but works perfectly in first person flat.
I've also done a few other tweaks and fixes not included in the other patches.
Hey RAO and my mod both won't sound as good in third person the reverb is set from the head position in first person. So it will work but it may sound off/weird.
Yes it will work with any sound mods. If you are loading atmosphere stuff that adds ambient sounds. Load after Reverb and Ambience overhaul.
I hope someone would see this, I have had an issue since installing this mod where some sounds are not playing, like when you earn or pick up bottle caps and the voice that plays when you open them nuke protection blue tube thingys. I was wondering if anyone knows a fix or a solution to this or if anyone has came across this issue as well, I checked my sounds BSA file and the bottle caps sound is in there it's just not playing. Weird.
Seems like when i turn the Ambiance audio volume down it also turns down the in game radios. I have to turn it back up to hear radio again and then the random wind effects are super loud(and annoying since im inside most time detailing).
you can go into fo4 edit, load the mod-plugin and go to the tab "sound category". in there you can remove the inworldradio entry. this fixed it for me. another user here mentioned something like that, but w*o many details, so i tried and this helped. i'm no pro, but hope could help.
Bit of a longshot here since it's been 6 years but how did you do that? The fact that the radio has been tied to the ambiance slider has bugged for years and years.
@drizno first, i'm quite a noob and no pro and still in the process learn myself a lot of things considering mods. but i assume what Nekana did was simply using Fo4edit, loading the mod-plugin, and then remove the entry of the inworld radio. i've checked myself, loaded the mod pugin and found an entry that seems to fit on the tab "audio effect chain" - audioeffectchaininworldradio... i'll give it a try myself see if it works removing it. okay, i tried a few things and figured it out i guess. its not the one mentioned that needs to be removed, but under the tab "sound category" the inworldradio needs to be removed. that fixed the radio issue for me
So is there still no fix for the wind noise? I know you can turn off the ambiance slider but for some reason it's tied to the radio volume aswell so all radios become silent.
Which version should we use for Fallout: London? Edit: I saw someone made a youtube tutorial where they used the all-dlc version. I think I'll skip modding though and just do the ENB to maintain stability.

Can you customize this mod for me to suit my overly specific request?
No.
Can you add a bunch of extra stuff that will make this mod buggy, script-heavy, and messy?
No.
Can you make this unrelated mod I thought of?
No.
Can you make a patch for X mod?
If I use it, maybe. If not, no.
Will you bring this mod to consoles?
If possible, yes. If not, no.
This mod is pointless, and I'm going to explain why at length.
Don't bother. Also, this is not a question.
This mod is not lore-friendly, and I'm going to explain why at length.
See above.
