This can (and will likely and eventually) break your save. This is just a bat file with 2 commands run: player.sexchange followed by slm 14. The first changes your form from the starting gender to the opposite and the second opens the looks menu. Your character will still be referred to as your character's original gender by all NPCs and have the voice of the of your original gender. I was looking for a mod that lets you play different characters within a single save, mostly because I was curious if it was possible and stumbled upon this. The people in the linked steam discussion flesh out what happens and post #35 dives into some code and says it's theoretically possible but would take a full mod for this to work properly.
I would love for this to come to the Xbox at some point as it would make things a lot easier for some people. Maybe have it craftable at the chem station as a holotape?
So there's a savegame I like, but I want to change gender. Before I destroy my game and have to reinstall it AGAIN, I want to make sure... does this mod have issues I should be aware of? Is it safe to change gender?
