SETTLEMENTS AND HOMES

14 settlements........ That's a lot of settlements!!!
7 Homes.... Are you nuts??

The Settlements

ALL the settlements are REGULAR ones. Settlers can be spawned via beacon, supply lines can be created, attacks will  happen... all the normal stuff in settlements.
Of course being regular settlements also can be RAIDED or ENSLAVED. In order to do that you have to develop the settlement a little so Shanks will consider the place a valid target.
And , as in the previous versions, ALL the workbenches on those areas are linked to their correspondant workshops.
But there's s caveat here. NOT ALL the settlements are free to take. For many of them you have to fullfill some requirement.

The Homes

ALL the homes can be taken from the beggining. No requirements.
As a difference with other interior workshops (Diamond City Player Home) these homes use a custom workshop.
That means the workshop has access to ALL the Workshop Mode Menu. You can build everything you like or want.
DO NOT try to spawn settlers and I do not recommend use robots either. These areas has nothing to make them work as a settlement. (No Spawn, no Center, no Attack.. NO PARENT QUEST).
These are meant to be used as HOMES. The exception being the Cappy's Cafe. The workshop in this place is more to revamp the place than to use it as home... but you CAN... if you want to.

One by one:

NUKA TRANSIT  CENTER (Settlement)
The very first one you gonna find. As you can see by the name it's on the Nuka World Transit Center (In the Commonwealth).
Kill the gunners, enter the Metro Station, talk to Harvey, get the password, turn on the systems and... ready. You can go back and take control over the workshop.
The workshop is located on the left alley/corner of the Nuka Metro Station.
REQUIREMENT: Auxiliary Power at the Nuka Metro Station must be turned on in order to acces the workshop.

FIZZTOP GRILLE (Settlement)
So you are the overboss now. And the Fizztop Grille is for you to take. That easy.
The Fizztop Grille workshop controls the area surrounding the Fizztop lake/patio and of course includes the Fizztop Grille Restaurant.
Here, over the workshop, you can find the Lair Hub.

NOTE: The Lair Hub is a system to tranfer objects from the Fizztop Grille workshop to the Gangs Homes or viceversa. This way you can avoid unneccessary travels and/or loadscreens. The Lair Hub is composed by 4 miniworkbenches attached to their workshops. The Booze still is linked to the Pack's Lair, the Safe is linked to The Parlor (Operators), the Chem dispenser is linked to the Fizztop Mountain (Disciples) and the Red chest (Overboss Chest) is linked to the Fizztop Grille workshop. These workbenches work just as containers, so you can transfer items but not really use them as proper workbenches.

FIZZTOP GRILLE INTERIOR (Home)
Yes, your very own Overboss home. Ready to take. To make things easier the workshop from the inside is connected to the workshop on the outside.
Has power included ( custom Fusebox, radius 1k, power 100)

FIZZTOP MOUNTAIN INTERIOR (Home)
Now you're gonna know the gangs leaders and the first one could be Nisha, leader of the Disciples. Talk to her, get close to the workshop and... boom!,  now you can mess around with all those crazy decorations and put your own style onto this place. The workshop is not connected to anywhere but you can access the Lair Hub (Fizztop Grille)

THE PARLOR (Home)
Next ones in line are the Black brothers, leaders of the Operators. Talk to them, visit their dressing room and.... there you are.  Now you can turn the place into a real classy Club.
Same as before the workshop is not connected to anywhere but you can access the Lair Hub (Fizztop Grille). Also available here is a  Power Fusebox

CAPPY'S CAFE (Home)
Before you go to the see the last gang leader maybe you want to take some coffe..... or some beer(s). Enter the place and visit their storage room. And you're done. Enter the workshop mode and help the poor guy to clean up the place... or don't. The workshop is connected to the Nuka Market and has a  Fusebox included.

BRADBERTON AMPHITHEATER (Home)
And finally the last leader, Maxon, Alpha of The Pack. You can try to talk to him  (if you can hear him with all that noise from the fightpit) or you can go into the alley and see a fabulous workshop calling you. Put some order in this place and demonstrate those animals who is a builder alpha.
The workshop is not connected but has acces to the Lair Hub (Fizztop Grille)

NUKA WORLD BACKSTAGE (Bradberton Amphitheater Interior, Home)
Are you kidding? These animals have their own cave! Okey, walk in, turn to the right , enter what seems to be an office of some sort.... et voilá!
This workshop is connected to the outside one and also has acces to the Lair Hub. And has a power fusebox.

NUKA TOWN MARKET (Settlement)
So... what is that? A bullring? Do they have "toreros" inside? Or maybe.. Is it a coliseum and they have gladiators fighting to death? Naaah....... the sign says Market.
Enter the Market and look around. Close to one of the main gates (the ones leading to the Nuka World entrance) there is the workshop. There you go. You are the Market Master now.
The workshop is free to take. Already has power (Fusebox) and water (custom water purifier, gives 50 water)

NUKA CITY (Settlement)
Wait, is there something in that alley? The alley goes from the front of the Cola Cars "Stadium" to the the entrance of The Parlor. Go to the Cola Cars and enter the alley from there. Yeah, there it is, another workshop but...... nope. this doesn't work. WTF?
REQUIREMENT: Nuka World Power must be turned ON in order to access this workshop.

NOTE: This is a regular workshop so why the heck do I have to wait for the power to be activated? I'M THE OVERBOSS, EVERYTHING IS MINE. Is that not what happens to the DLC workshop, the one in the Red Rocket? Yes, and no, and yes, but.... this workshop is set to not be owned instantly. The SetOwned Trigger must be activated and that is what you do when you push the big red button at the Power Plant. It is not dependant directly on any quest but you HAVE to finish either "Power Play" (if you playing Evil Raider) or "Open Season" (if you are playing Good Samaritan and of course you've already talk with "Crazy" Doctor McKenzie. Did she ask to you to go and kill all the gang leaders?). Resume, you HAVE to activate the power in Nuka World to access the workshop. Pick your way.

When you finally manage to push the button the workshop is yours. This workshop controls the southern half of Nuka Town USA, meaning the Center area, the area surrounding the Market, and the Main Gate of Nuka World.

RIVERSIDE FARM (Settlement)
it's  time to move and visit the rest of the park but someone has told you something about some crazy cultist, the hubologists. Let's get out of Nuka Town through the main gate an  head to south-west.
Mmmmm?? What you can see is an old farming plot, a really large one indeed. There's a tool house next to the abandoned School Buses. Maybe..... yeah, there's  a workshop inside.
You can build your own plantation. Get some settlers and put  this fertile land to produce resources for you (or your gangs).

HUBOLOGIST CAMP (Settlement)
After meeting that dude on the road and following him you are now in the Hubologist Camp. The rusted Drumlin Dinner is a nice place to put up a camp. The workshop is inside the Dinner booth but..... can't be used yet. Jeez, ok. Let's talk with Dara Hubell and listen what she has to say. She ask for Space suits, yeah, sure. You can get some. After getting the space suits and deliver them to Dara she talks about cleaning the Junkyard and move there their base. Fight the robots at the junkyard and mission acomplished. The junyard becomes the new hubologist home and you can go back and take the Drumlin Dinner for you.
REQUIREMENT: You have to help the hubologist in order to take this workshop.

NOTE: There's no need to finish the hubologist quest line in order to take the workshop. Just need from them to move onto the Junkyard. However, since you are in the Junkyard, you can finish the quest and activate the UFO and them move back to the original Hubologist Camp and take the workshop.

NUKA STAR (Settlement)
While searching for the space suits for Dara you enter the Galactic Zone. it seems some serious fight has happened. After reading Tiara's Log you head to the Star Port. Just behind, there's what's left of these scavengers camp. And there is the workshop. And you  cannot use it. Damm.
REQUIREMENT: Nuka World Power must be activated to access the workshop.

NUKA WEST (Settlement)
There's a new sheriff in town. And worms. And crikets. And more robots. After you talk with one of the robots in charge and decide how you gonna enter the Mine, take a look at the main street of the town. In front of where "Oneyed" Ike is standing there's another Barn. Enter and you will see the workshop. And, no, it won't work.
REQUIREMENT: Nuka World Power must be activated to access the workshop.

NUKA SAFARI (Settlement)
Another park. Time to meet... Jungle Dude.
Okey, no, the name's Cito. The guy seems to manage pretty well dealing with those Crococlaw monsters but  needs some help to take them down. For good.
While hunting those monsters head to south-east corner of the park. There's a Water tower there. And the workshop on its base. Can't be used yet.
REQUIREMENT: Nuka World Power must be activated to access the workshop.

PRIMATE HOUSE (Home)
Cito's home. When you follow him and enter the building you can see the gorillas in the hall and behind them, against the wall, the workshop. Free.
Give those gorillas some love and create something cool for them.
This workshop is linked to Nuka Safari.

NUKA KINGDOM (Settlement)
OMG! Ghouls. Ghouls everywhere. CLOWN Ghouls. And this annoying guy on the speakers. Yeah, whatever he says, you're looking for a workshop.
Do you have a jetpack? Cool. That makes it easier. At the main entrance turn to the right, jump over the fence and next to the tunnels door is the workshop.
If you don't have have a jetpack....
Enter the park. Cross the spinning cups. Go to the right. Dodge the ghouls, avoid the mines. Pass the rocket bottles carousel (beware the frags) and go straight to the alley.
At the end is the tunnels door and next to it, the workshop. Good for you. Now you can leave because you can NOT use it. Really? Yeap, really.
REQUIREMENT: Nuka World Power must be activated to access the workshop.

NUKA FACTORY (settlement)
Now what? Nukalurks? Not enough with the regular ones? Do not care, just kill'em all. Take the ladders and go to the right. Inside the large industrial room you can find the terminal controlling the spotlight aaaaand... the workshop. Which, of course , you can not use yet.
This workshop controls the outside area of the Nuka Cola Bottling Plant and will appear as Nuka Cola Factory Yard in your Pip-Boy tabs.
REQUIREMENT: Nuka World Power must be activated to access the workshop.

NUKA COLA BOTTLING PLANT (Settlement)
Once you've cleaned the yard it's time to clean up the house. Enter the factory itself. You can use 4 ways to enter; sneaking through the sewers, using the front entrance to the World of Refreshment, hacking the terminal and using the Cargo Bay door or using the exit gate to (from) the yard in the upper floor. More nukalurks. More robots. More gunners. Ah? Gunners? No, those are dead already, so "just" nukalurks and robots. The easy way to get to the workshop is using the exit gate. Enter the factory, turn to the right, climb the stairs and enter the Main Control room. You can see a Red console against one of the walls. That is your workshop. And again, needs power to be used.
REQUIREMENT: Nuka World Power must be activated to access the workshop.

NOTE: This is an interior Cell but it works like a regular exterior settlement. It has spawn and attack points and supply lines with any other settlement can be created.

NUKA WORLD RED ROCKET (Settlement)
Nothing new. A Red Rocket Gas station. With a workshop.
REQUIREMENT: Nuka World Power must be activated to access the workshop.

NOTE: This is the vanilla DLC workshop/settlement. The previous versions SetOwned trigger has been removed so now this workshop works as it was(is) in the vanilla DLC. When you take control, the settlement becomes a RAIDER OUTPOST. Unless you finished the "Open Season" quest, in which case will turn onto a regular settlement.

BARLOW ESTATE (Settlement)
Continuing your jorney you head to the north, to Bradberton, biggest (only?) town in the Nuka World Valley.  Bradberton has truned into Ghoul City so be careful. Cross the town and at the end of the road turn to the right and go uphill. If you take a look to the map you can see there's a house in the north-east corner of Bradberton. That is Barlow Estate.
Search the area to discover some hidden enemies and then look at the garage/parking lot. There it is, your brand new workshop. Done.

DRY ROCK GULCH EMPLOYEES AREA (Settlement)
It's been a long way. After fighting everywhere and taking the parks for the raiders, you are finally at the Power Plant. This is the moment of truth.
PUSH the Red button and watch the fireworks. Now Nuka World has power again. Now you can visit those areas previously unaccessible.
Like the area besides Dry Rock Gulch. Find the entrance door, use the terminal and enter the place. And.....MORE Ghouls, MORE mines,... yeah!!
Deal with the ghouls and move to the garage at the end. There is another to the right, look for the toolbox at the end and you can use it. That is the last workshop on the list.
REQUIREMENT: Nuka World Power must be activated to access the workshop.

NOTE: If you are visiting the area after activating the power the workshop will be ready to use. If you manage to enter the area before activating the power (using a jetpack and jumping over the walls) you will not be able  to use it until you restore the power.

And those are all the settlements and homes.
It has been quite a journey to get them all (Poke-Settlements??).

Now it's up to you how to manage them.
Do you wanna play the raider way? You can. RAID or ENSLAVE the settlements.
Do you wanna play the hero way? Use your new settlements to help you and take down all those raider scumbags.

Thank you very much for reading this article :)
Enjoy the Mod ;)
