This article provides a reference of the settings that can be changed in game. To access the Settings menu use the Data Encryption Channel item when you do not have binoculars / designators equipped.

The Data Encryption Channel item should be craftable at the Chem Station for one steel. This will allow you to craft the item, access the settings menu to skip the fire support requirements should you wish to do so.

Initial Menu

• Designate Target - exits the menu and equips binoculars (if in the player's inventory). Targetting an enemy within a set time limit will provide the fire support selection menu (if more than one type of fire support is available).
• Set Target Location - Provides the player with a barter menu to set bearing and distance to a target in 'space'. A feature mainly to see how it could be done.
• View Fire Support - Shows a menu that can scroll through the different Fire Support options based on installed mods and addons. Provides basic information on the status of that Fire Support option, such as whether a quest needs to be completed or the player needs certain inventory items in order to call in that Fire Support type.
• Settings - Provides the in-game settings menu that is shown in the images below.
