Checkpoint encounters are, overall, rather similar to assault encounters in terms of how they play out. You have one faction defending a specific location on the map, and another attacking them. The primary difference is that checkpoint encounters only become available once you commit to a specific faction during the game's story, and that faction will be the defender for every checkpoint in the Commonwealth. Unlike normal assault encounters, you will receive a misc quest objective to help defend the checkpoint when these encounters begin.
In terms of the random checkpoint encounters this mod adds, you can find the encounters listed below. Each encounter listed below actually has two different variants to it, similar to how most checkpoint encounters made by Bethesda are handled.
Enemy Disciples
- Requirements: Disciples as traitor faction or Nisha killed
Enemy Mechanist Robots
- Requirements: Speak with Ada for Mechanical Menace
Enemy Operators
- Requirements: Operators as traitor faction or Mags or William Black killed
Enemy Pack
- Requirements: Pack as traitor faction or Mason killed
Enemy Rust Devils
- Requirements: Speak with Ada for Mechanical Menace
