Camp encounters are one of the more varied types of encounters you will find in Fallout 4. They frequently feature hostile, friendly, and neutral setups and can be more complex due to the nature of how the campsites are built. The one consistent part about them is that they will always happen at one of the campsites scattered around the game.

In terms of the random camp encounters this mod adds, you can find them listed below. Please be aware that minimum levels apply to both the player's current level and the location of the encounter, so high level locations may provide high level encounters to a low level player. I have also provided screenshots of the more visually interesting encounters as a demonstration of what you might find.

Abandoned dog

    Requirements: None
    Locations: Rural Commonwealth, Urban Commonwealth, Far Harbor, Nuka World



    A camp with a dog, empty food bowl, and doghouse. Reading a note found on the ground allows you to adopt the dog and send them to your settlement.


"Alien" landing
    Requirements: None

    A Nuka rocket accompanied by several of the Nuka Galaxy alien turrets.


Ants versus dogs
    Requirements: None

    A dead brahmin, with ants and wild dogs fighting for rights to the corpse.

Dead lovers
    Requirements: None

    A dead scavenger and a skeleton, sharing the same bed.


Deathclaw attacking caravan
    Requirements: Level 22+

    A caravan under attack from a deathclaw. If the caravan leader survives, they'll be willing to trade with you.

Dry bath

Escaped Pack slaves
    Requirements: Claim an outpost for Home Sweet Home or be in Nuka World, Pack is not the enemy faction and Open Season has not started

    A camp occupied by collared Pack slaves. Pack raiders will show up and kill the slaves if you approach.


Eyebot spies

Feral ghoul ambush
    Requirements: None

    A camp featuring a prominently placed mannequin. Approaching the camp results in an ambush from feral ghouls in the area.
