Update instructions from version 2.1.X to 2.2.X
The new version requires you to start a new game. This version is not save-game compatible with versions below 2.2.
This version includes a patch for the Survival Configuration menu (SCM) mod. Please sue that patch if you want to use SCM. SCM has to be loaded before Frost.esp, and the SCM patch has to be loaded after the UFO4P FROST patch.

Update instructions from version 2.0.X to 2.1.X

I changed the boat travel scripts, as a result the boat travel system might break for some users on a current playthrough. There is no safe way for me to update the scripts due to how the engine, scripts and save files work. It should technically still work on a current save file, but I can't gurantee it. Make sure to make a backup save file before updating this mod!

After you update, you might have to do this (If you don't have boat fuel or have not idea what I am talking about, you can ignore this!):
I also had to switch out the Boat Fuel item through another one due to technical reasons.
If you have Boat Fuel, please use console commands to get the new Boat Fuel item. Use the command help "Boat Fuel" 4 ammo
to get the ID of the new fuel item, and then use
player.additem ID Xto get the new boat fuel, where X is the number of the boat fuel you possesed previously.
Please only cheat an equal amount of new Boat Fuel :D

Check out the Chemistry Workbench (the tool section), you can now craft a mine detector and mine detector charges there.
Mine Detector Charges and Boat Fuel will appear in the Ammo section of your Pip Boy.
I had to do that because the UI in the game will not display the weight of the fuel/the charges if they are not ammo. Just roll with it please :D

Update Instructions for the first release (November/December 2022)

Read this!

• If you don't have a previous FROST mod setup, you can ignore this entire article.
• If you use the Stay FROSTy Wabbajack, please wait until ScreamingLake updates the Wabbajack!
• If you update the mod mentioned in Step 2, please chek if they got updated already! Some of them might not got updated right away, in that case please wait until they got updated! Check if a mod has the "Updated Flag" or not, or if the upload date is 28. November 2022 or newer!
  

If you already have a FROST mod setup which includes my old mods, like Frost Nuka-World, here is what you need to do to update your setup.

You can either nuke your current setup and use the Below Zero Guide to set up a FROST Setup from scratch (which I recommend to do), or you can do the following steps:

1. Uninstall mods the following mods

• Uninstall and Remove the old Frost Official Updates mod
• Uninstall and Remove the old Frost More Starting Locations mod
• Uninstall and Remove the old Frost Nuka-World mod
• Uninstall and Remove the Freeze Intimidation Overhaul Mod
• Uninstall and Remove the Level-Up Healing Removal Mod
• Uninstall and Remove the Frost Recycled Fusion Cell Framework Mod
• Uninstall and Remove the Frost PipBoy Sanity Tab
• Uninstall and Remove the Frost Dead Feral Ghoul Head Fix Mod
• Uninstall and Remove the FROST - Screenshot Contest 2022 - Loading Screens Mod
• Uninstall and Remove the Frost Zap Gun Patch Mod
• Uninstall and Remove the FROST Lore-Tweaked Sanity Loss Mod
• Uninstall and Remove the Frost Cell Fixes Mod
• Uninstall and Remove the Frost UFO4P Patch Mod
• Uninstall and Remove the Frost Random Start Location Mod
• Uninstall and Remove the Frost IAF Patch mod
• Uninstall and Remove the Frost PANPC patch mod
• Uninstall and Remove the FROST Gas Masks of the Wasteland (GMOW) patch mod

2. Install the Following Mods

• Download and Install the Frost Official Updates (Redux) = This mod here (Update Confirmed!)
• Download and install the newest version of the Frost UFOP4 Patch (Update Confirmed!)
• Download and install the newest version of Frost IAF Patch (only if you use IAF/want to use it!) (Update Confirmed!)
• Download and install the newest version of the Frost PANPC Patch (only if you use PANPC/want to use it!) (Update Confirmed!)
• Download and install the newest version of the FROST - Screenshot Contest 2022 - Loading Screens (only if you want to use it!) (Update Confirmed!)
• Download and install the newest version of the Frost Zap Gun Patch (only if you want to use it!)
• Download and install the newest version of the Frost Cell Fixes (make sure to install appropiate patches for it as well, like lighting mod patches) (Update Confirmed!)
• Download and install the newest version of the Frost GMOW Patch (only if you want to use it!) (Update Confirmed!)
  
  
  
  

The other mods that you uninstalled are not required anymore as they have been merged into the Frost Official Updates (Redux) mod.
