The scope of this article is for Raider Overhaul One (RO1) specifically, although several vanilla Leveled Lists are also used.  The purpose is to provide a Mod Author or User just enough information to add Armor to the most appropriate Leveled Lists (LL) for Raider Overhaul One.

Download from RO1 downloads page, the large .png file and Raider_Overhaul_LLs_x.drawio file which can be viewed at https://www.diagrams.net/ .  I prefer to download and use the application from that site but the web app also works well. I'm going to attempt to keep this brief and speak in "bullet points" as much as possible.

Diagram Explanations:

  • Refer to Body Slots usage for Fallout 4 for additional biped slot information.
  • "CN" - "Chance None" levels for balance.
  • Green LLs - Vanilla FO4
  • Blue LLs - Raider Overhaul One LLs

This is not going to be a step-by-step instruction.  I'm tired and ... well, tired of typing words.

The primary goal is to place ARMO pieces into Leveled Lists which can randomly spawn without the possibility of creating conflicts and nudes.  xEdit can show biped slots but following the paths and possible combinations of LLs is quite a task.  Injection Targets have been defined for this reason.

Injection Targets are based upon the biped slots those items occupy and other armors which are possible to spawn in combination.
Injection Targets are all identified as to their purposes.  So we just need to Define those purposes and the Biped Slots used.

Also, the diagram has some mods noted as to what LLs they use.  Consider these just examples and my "notes to self".

Injection Targets:

Underarmor - These outfits do not occupy slots for Torso or limbs.
    - Typical slots: 33-Body.  Optional Slots: all the Underarmor, [U], slots may be used.
Full Outfit Including Headwear - Uses slots for some combination of torso, limbs and headwear.  Conflicts with everything else.
Full Outfit No Headwear - Uses slots for some combination of torso and limbs but headwear slots are ALL available.
Full Headwear - may use any or ALL biped slots for head.  Conflicts with any other headwear.
    - Typical slots: 30-Hair Top, 31-Hair Long, 46-Headband, 47-Eyes, 48-Beard, 49-Mouth
Lighter Helmets - Most only use slot 30-Hair Top.  Slot 46-Headband IS NOT USED here so facemasks can be worn with helmets.
Heavier Helmets - Most only use slot 30-Hair Top.  Slot 46-Headband IS NOT USED here so facemasks can be worn with helmets.
Underhelmet Masks - Possible to wear with helmets
    - Typical slots: 46-headband, 47-Eyes, 48-Beard, 49-Mouth
Eyewear - Only slot 47-Eyes
Mouthwear - Small masks, such as surgical masks, use slots 48-Beard & 49-Mouth.
Neckwear - Slot 50
Accessories - I only have Earrings here at slot 58.

I prefer to use DankRafft's LL injection when making injection patches for RO1.

NOTE:  All the RO1 FormID leading numbers to are changed to XX as almost any other load order will have different leading digits for RO1 FormIDs.
