Hi there, just a quick, little guide concerning my mod!
If a mod breaks the wodden chest next to the workbench(very likely with a heavy modded playthrough) here's a "fix".

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) Open up the Creation Kit(for those who don't know, download F4 Creation Kit Fixes so you can choose multiple master files and other fixes).

2) Save immediately(Ctrl + S) and name the Plugin however you like, for example <your User Name>_WoodChestFix.

3) Click on FILE -> Data. A new window will open up where you choose the master files/Mods. Select all Mods with a double click that edit the Settlement System or Environment and be sure to select Lexington Hub too. Set the .esp file you just saved as active file with the button "Set as Active File".

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4) In the Cell View(If not opened, VIEW -> Cell View Window) change Interiors to Commonwealth and type in the Filter "LexingtonExt03" - double click it to load in the Render Window.

5) In the Render Window(to move around hold the mousewheel and drag, hold Shift Key to pan the camera) right click on the empty wooden chest next to the Workhop(a red box might be in the way, use the mousewheel to scroll closer to the chest and then select it). Click duplicate.
A new wooden chest will then emerge, likely named "LH_ScrapallHUB001", press the E key which will show you the X- Y- and Z-Axis. Position it to your liking by dragging the red, green and blue arrow.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

6) Right click on the empty wooden chest again, click "Select All Linked Refs". Now the editor will select every object that I connected in my mod to that chest - this will take a while!

7) After everything got selected press (-) minus key. This will open the Reference Batch Action Window.

  • Check "Set linked ref" to active.
  • Fill Cell with LexingtonExt03
  • Fill Reference with LH_ScrapallHUB001(the duplicated wooden chest)
  • Fill Keyword with WorkshopStackedItemParentKEYWORD

Now hit Do. This will create new links from every scrappable object from Lexington Hub to your empty wooden chest.
Hit save, after that you are done and the trash removal works again.
