Here I will list a detailed description of what is in the mod, and why.
This is for people that want to either know it all or are looking for incompatibilities with other mods.
Soldiers wear the 3 vanilla BoS uniforms. There are retexture to orange, olive & black. They are a lot more muted then vanilla.
Classic combat armor has been retextured by me.
Also modified "The Lost Patrol" quest reward to use a classic combat armor chest piece instead of the vanilla one.
The vertibird underarmor is used on the lancers.
The headgear can randomly spawn on them in different variants.
The recon set is the new field scribe outfit.
Squires wear a version of this underarmor to give the children a better look.
Cade has a medic version of this outfit.
The aesthetic is muted earthy colors. All the textures have been modified to fit eachother.
The Vertibird & Recon sets have had 1 skin each modified for this.
The classic combat armor has the BoS material assigned to the default skin.
Certain leather pieces, like Maxson's coat or Captain Kells his hat, has been modified to fit the leather color from the lancer jacket.
Removed the loop from the science scribe armor.
Made new meshes for the squires (children).
Everything has been renamed according to their division or rank.
BoS Recon Underarmor has been renamed to Field Outfit.
etc, etc...
There is a couple of added tweaks to the BoS gear.
Like carry weight bonus on the engineer scribe armor.
2 full sets can be found on 2 dead bodies in the commonwealth.
A full set of Knight gear can be found on the dead body of Knight Astlin at National Guard Training Yard.
A full set of Scribe gear can be found on the dead body of Scribe Faris at Revere Satellite Station.
Both full sets & all other armors can be bought from Proctor Teagan, the quartermaster.
I also added all the original BoS gear, that's not available anymore, in his vendor list in case someone wants it.
Paladins & initiates spawn properly now. In vanilla all 3 ranks spawn as knights. Differentiation between ranks cause them to have the wrong inventory assigned when trying to equip custom outfits and therefore will spawn in regular soldier gear.
Everything has been rebalanced like usual.
Crafting of both sets has been gated behind armorer 3.
Cleaned up keywords that are unnecessary. Fixed body slots to prevent clipping or added it where these were missing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Soldiers
They have been differentiated by underarmor and tier of classic combat armor. They have been separated in the NPC records and instead of all spawning with the same soldier gear, they actually look different now.
Initiates wear the orange one in combination with light classic combat armor.
Knights wear the olive one in combination with medium classic combat armor.
Paladins wear the black one in combination with heavy classic combat armor.
Random chance for headgear. 30% on initiates, 50 on knights & 70 on paladins.
They also have a the same chance to spawn with the Recon Mask, which has been turned into a universal Field mask.
Lancers
All of the lancers are equipped with the Vertibird set.
Lancer Initiates have a 50% chance to spawn with the open Lancer Mask, this one looks kind of like the vanilla BoS Hood.
The rest of them have a 50% chance to spawn with either the full Lancer Mask, the open Lancer Mask or the BoS Glasses.
They also have a 50% chance to spawn with a headset.
All of them come with the gloves.
Field scribe
Field scribes are equipped with the Recon Underarmor & the Recon Overcoat.
Field scribes will have the choice of 4 variants of the longcoat. They also have a slight chance to spawn with no overcoat.
Science Scribes are equipped with a new Lab Coat. The same Recon Underarmor has been meshed under it.
Field Scribes have a 50% chance to wear the Recon Helmet. Same chance to come equipped with the Field Gasmask.
They also have 3 options for headwear: goggles down, goggles up & BoS Glasses.
Engineer Scribes have 50% chance to spawn with goggles down.
Science Scribes have a 50% chance to spawn with Recon Glasses or vanilla Medical Goggles.
All of them come with the gloves.
Engineer & Science scribes
They spawn in their vanilla outfit.
They have mesh edits & new textures to spruce them up and match them to the rest of the mod.
This includes Teagan & Quinlan who both wear a variant of these 2 armors.
Power Armor users are the same as vanilla.
Named BoS members follow these same division/rank rules.
In most cases, they will have predetermined gear.
As an example, I threw some guaranteed BoS Glasses on Knight Rhys. Or a pair of Recon Glasses on Proctor Quinlan.
This system is much more detailed then vanilla.
In vanilla, each division has a single outfit. No rank differences and scribes are mostly all the same as well.
Now each rank/division will look unique compared to another.
There are some spawn issues in the late game around Boston airport. Initiates are spawning in soldier gear. Nothing I can do about it within a reasonable timeframe. It is what it is.

Quick note on the mod patches.
B35C
The full outfit has 50% chance to spawn on paladins. 25% chance to spawn on knights.
Rhys now comes outfitted in a full B35C set. It's buyable from Proctor Teagon.
Added a bunch of fixes to the original mod.
Improves BoS REDUX
Tweaks some outfits, fixed some NPC records & merged both of the vendor changes.
Keep in mind this is for the REDUX version of the mod.
Conflict section.
Here I will put exactly what was changed so you can figure out if it potentially could conflict with another one of your mods.
The mod touches BoS outfits, some NPC's records & Teagan's vendor list.
No mod I know touches the outfits which means it's compatible with pretty much everything.
The NPC records that are touched are used by some gameplay overhaul mods. Depends on the mod really. Horizon has none, Unbogus has 30. I can only recommend caution with this.
The vendor list is also rarely touched. If something conflicts and this mod loses, the armor will simply not be available for purchase.
Same thing applies to the quest.
I play with a vanilla body, so all my mods, if meshes are included, are for the vanilla body.
I do not support or care to troubleshoot body mod problems.
